President Trump made a major declaration while playing a round of golf at his Mar-a-Lago estate. A video that has been floating around on Twitter the last 24 hours shows Trump setting up his tee and a person recording Trump introduces Trump as the 45th President of the United States, but Trump stops him dead in his tracks and makes a rendition to the man’s statement.
Trump corrected the man and stated “the 45 and 47th President“. The statement by Trump shows that Trump has his eyes on being elected as President in the 2024 election.

As of now, Trump hasn’t made a formal announcement that he’s running for President in 2024, but he has hinted on several occasions. Many thought he was going to make his official announcement during his rally in Florence, Arizona but he ended up not doing so.
In a poll conducted by the Hill, Trump has the best shot to become the Republican presidential nominations. Here were the results:
In a hypothetical eight-person GOP presidential primary, Trump holds a clear edge, garnering 57 percent support among Republican voters. DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence are nearly deadlocked at 12 percent and 11 percent, respectively. No other would-be candidate tested in the poll registers double-digit support.
Trump has been very active in his time away from the White House and has given out dozens of endorsements to Republican representatives and Senators who are looking to dethrone RINOs in office.
As of now, Trump has yet to pick a running mate but many have speculated Trump will pick Republican governor of Florida Ron DeSantis as a running mate. Last month the corporate media news outlets claimed that there was a rift between DeSantis and Trump but Trump called the narrative being pushed by big networks like CNN and MSNBC as “fake news”.
Others are speculating that DeSantis will forego being Trump’s VP and will run for office himself. Besides DeSantis, Conservative commentator Candace Owens has also expressed how she would like to be Trump’s VP. Another possible VP pick would be Trump’s former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

If Trump was to get elected he would be the second president ever to be elected for two consecutive terms. The first president to serve two consecutive terms in office was President Grover Cleveland. In 1884 Cleveland defeated James Blaine but was not re-elected in 1988 and was defeated by President Benjamin Harris. In 1992 President Cleveland would run again against Harrison but this time Cleveland came out victorious.
Trump does have a very good chance of repeating history and becoming the second president ever to be elected by two non-consecutive terms. Biden at this point is one of the most unpopular presidents the United States has ever elected. Polls have shown consistently that they do not trust Biden as the leader of the free world. Biden’s approval numbers are so low Hillary Clinton is thinking about running again for the Democratic party. Kamala Harris might want to throw her hat in the mix as well.
