Tucker Carlson is one of the last Fox New hosts that actually engage in real investigative journalism. While most Fox News anchors shied away from investigating what really happened on January 6th, Tucker did the exact opposite and left no stone unturned. People tune in to Tucker every night because he is bold and not afraid to call out a lie when he hears one.
So, when Ted Cruz in front of the Senate Rules Committee stated that “we are approaching a solemn anniversary this week … And it is an anniversary of a violent terrorist attack” Carlson immediately called out Senator Cruz and even invited him on his show to talk about it.
Tucker started out his interview with Cruz by telling him “there are a lot of dumb people in Congress. You’re not one of them”. The Fox News host continued and went on to say that January 6th was by no means a terror attack and was quoted telling Cruz “you told that lie on purpose, and I’m wondering why you did”.

According to Fox News, this was Cruz’s response to Tucker calling him a liar:
“As a result of my sloppy phrasing, it’s caused a lot of people to misunderstand what I meant. Let me tell you what I meant to say. I was referring to … the limited number of people who engaged in violent attacks against police officers … I’ve drawn a distinction. I wasn’t saying that the thousands of peaceful protesters supporting Donald Trump are somehow terrorists. I wasn’t saying the millions of patriots across the country supporting President Trump are terrorists, and that’s what a lot of people have misunderstood.”
Tucker wasn’t buying any of Sen. Cruz’s wishy-washy words and instead pushed back against the Senator of Texas and said he didn’t believe Cruz’s words.
The topic quickly changed as fiery Tucker Carlson asked Cruz another question regarding Ray Epps. Ray Epps was an ex-marine who was seen on video inciting Trump supporters to commit violence the day before January 6th. However, Trump supporters didn’t fall for Epp’s tactics and they started to chant “FED” referring to Epps as a member of the FBI.
Cruz responded to Tucker’s questions about Epps stating that he doesn’t know much about Epps’ but has seen videos of him and believes he was a Federal agent posing as a Trump supporter.
Here’s a video of ray Epps encouraging Trump supporters to go into the Capitol:
How many January 6th protesters were actually working for the federal government? In October, I asked AG Garland while he was under oath and he refused to answer. He looked very nervous and worried when I showed him this video in that hearing.pic.twitter.com/lvd9n4mMHK

Ray Epps was initially put on the FBI’s wanted list but was then stealthy taken off the list and was never charged with any crimes. No one has seen or heard from Epps which even furthers the evidence he was an agent provocateur working for the FBI.
While the January 6th Committee is issuing subpoenas for General Flynn, Alex Jones, Steve Bannon, and others they have completely ignored a man who literally said “let’s go into the capitol”. The January 6th Committee isn’t giving Epps a subpoena because he’s obviously an FBI agent that was planted to cause havoc.
