During their daily talk radio show last week, the nationally recognized team of Buck Sexton and Clay Travis, who have taken over the time slot formerly filled by the late radio legend Rush Limbaugh, zealously promoted their upcoming scheduled interview with former President Donald J. Trump.
The team has an interesting dynamic to it as Buck is a former CIA agent and history buff while Clay is more known in the sports world as the founder of OutKick.com.
On Tuesday, President Trump hosted their interview at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.
In addition to the lingering questions concerning the 2020 election results, tens of millions of Trump supporters listen closely every time the former Commander In Chief speaks. His MAGA supporters are looking for his take on Biden’s failing policies which are crippling America, and for any updates on an announcement concerning his expected 2024 run for the Oval Office.
Trump frequently speaks out about the rapid decline the USA has experienced in just a little year from him leaving the White House.
With this being said, in the interview President Trump made a few comments consistent with his trademark, positive, can-do worldview, especially in his reply to one of their questions; “Something is about to happen.”
BUCK: You’ve got people listening all across the country, Mr. President. You got about a minute. What do you want them to know, ’cause right now a lot of them are writing into us; they’re worried. They’re worried about what’s happening in this country.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Our country has never been in a situation like this. Our media is broken and corrupt, as you look at, like, CNN as an example. But you look at the Times and you look at what they write, it’s so wrong, it’s so wrong, and it’s been so wrong, the Russia, Russia, Russia, everything. We’re gonna come back, we’re gonna come back strong, we’ll be bigger and better and stronger than ever before. Something’s gonna happen.

To end the interview, Trump who is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast was asked by Clay concerning Ton Brady’s retirement.
CLAY: Last question for you, and this is a fun one ’cause I know you’re a big sports fan. Tom Brady retired.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Yeah.
CLAY: Do you think he’s done, or do you think he’s come back and play? I know you’ve had a relationship with him over the years. He obviously had a very good final year with the Bucs. Kind of suddenly retired. Do you think it’s done, or do you think he’ll come back?
PRESIDENT TRUMP: I think he’s coming back because I watched the way he… You know, everyone said he was retiring but he didn’t sort of say that. I think he might come back and, if you look at statistics, he was leading virtually every category.
CLAY: He was incredible.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: So, I hope he comes back. He’s a great guy.
Considering how far away January 20th, 2025 is, interviews like this are important in keeping the MAGA message in the public conversation.
