Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau is flexing his authoritarian muscles even more and has demanded truckers to stop protesting or else face major consequences. After three weeks of protesting from truckers all across Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told truckers to go back home and if they continued to blockade major international crossings or Ottawa then their CDLs would be taken away.
Besides threatening truckers with taking away their licenses, the Canadian government has also threatened $100,000 fines along with one year of imprisonment for any trucker creating a blockade in downtown Ottawa or other parts of Canada.
Trudeau is now threatening the Truckers.

Despite Trudeau threatening truckers’ livelihood, most of the truckers are not budging at all and are still protesting against vaccine mandates.
Al Jazeera reported Trudeau message to the truckers:
“We’ve heard you. It’s time go home now.”
“You don’t want to end up losing your license, end up with a criminal record, which will impact your job, your livelihood, even your ability to travel internationally, including to the US,” Trudeau said Friday.
“We’ve heard your frustration with COVID, with the measures that are there to keep people safe. We’ve heard you. It’s time to go home now.”
The only problem is Trudeau is completely blind because the truckers are not protesting because they are “tired” of Covid-19, they are protesting against the Canadian government’s tyrannical response to Covid-19.
The Ottawa government recently declared a state of emergency for Canadians. At a recent news conference, Ottawa Premier Doug Ford declared that it is illegal for truckers to block goods and services.
CBC reported more on what Premier Ford had to say:
“international border crossings, 400-series highways, airports, ports, bridges and railways. It will also include protecting the safe and essential movement of ambulatory and medical services, public transit, municipal and provincial roadways, as well as pedestrian walkways,” Ford said.
“Fines for non-compliance will be severe, with a maximum penalty of $100,000 and up to a year imprisonment. We will also provide additional authority to consider taking away the personal and commercial licences of anyone who doesn’t comply with these orders.”
The White House has finally broken its silence regarding the freedom convoy in Canada and has called for the truckers protesting vaccine mandates to stop. The White House has become increasingly concerned over the freedom convoy after truckers created a blockade of the Ambassador Bridge that connects Detriot and Windsor, Ontario.

Democrat Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer isn’t a fan of the Freedom Convoy either and has called for the trucks to be removed from the Ambassador Bridge as soon as possible. While Liberals are crying about the Freedom Convoy, Conservatives on the other hand are praising the truckers for standing up for freedom regardless of the consequences. Republican Senator Rand Paul called for more blockades to occur in Canada and encouraged the truckers to come to America to begin a civil disobedient movement to end vaccine mandates in Democrat-run cities.
There have been several rumors that suggest that a trucker convoy will make its way to the Superbowl this Sunday but as of yet there have been no sights of major convoys heading to California.
