Once again there is a conflict between the United States’ Chief Executive Officer’s statements and others actively doing the bidding of the radical left-wing of the Democratic Party. This includes the Department of Justice under Attorney General Merrick Garland and several other branches of the federal government.
On Tuesday, President Joe Biden’s administration said it would appeal a Florida federal judge’s ruling ending the CDC’s mask mandate on airplanes if public health officials deem it necessary.
This announcement though came just hours after Biden, during a trip to New Hampshire, answered a question from a report, about whether travelers should keep masking on planes.
“That’s up to them,” Biden replied shortly.

When also asked if he would challenge the ruling, Biden suggested he still had to talk to the Centers for Disease Control about the subject.
“I haven’t spoken to the CDC yet. Thank you,” he said.
Mr. Biden chose to wear a mask on Air Force One on Tuesday, following the federal judge’s ruling overturning the mask mandate on Monday. Joe has made a habit of wearing masks at his own leisure, even when it appears to be going against the grain of the other governmental departments’ directives.
The White House also required reporters and staff traveling with Biden to wear a mask, even though the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said mask mandates would no longer be enforced.
Several airlines dropped their mask mandates Monday night, hours after the federal judge struck down the mask mandate. Their decision and announcements quickly led to numerous videos appearing online showing a pilot, flight assistants, and passengers jubilantly reacting to the announcement removing their masks in celebration.

The Justice Department said it would appeal a Monday ruling by U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle that the 14-month-old directive was unlawful if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention determined the mandate was needed to protect public health.
The DOJ and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published a press release Tuesday night; we “disagree with the district court’s decision and will appeal, subject to CDC’s conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health,” which says.

The mask mandate had been set to expire on May 3 after the Biden administration extended the requirement last week, noting it was contingent on the CDC’s assessment of attributed to the omicron subvariant, BA.2.
Come on man, as basement Joe Biden so famously likes to say, well at least he used to. I think the declining Joe might have forgotten the slogan, along with many other things.
With the nation already moving on, including the airlines that almost immediately dropped the mask mandate following Judge Mizelle’s ruling, the idea the DOJ wants to appeal the decision reaks of virtue signaling and desperation to maintain control of the population.
Instead of moving on from the two years of COVID madness, the Biden administration is doubling down, even though the public sentiment and yes science, are against their actions.
