Disinformation Czar Jankowicz Has Plans for Twitter

Misinformation Czarina, Nina Jankowicz has big plans for Twitter, and the dissemination of what the left considers truth.

Of course we all know what the left considers “truth” often times isn’t even the third cousin of reality, no less truth, but that isn’t going to stop Czarina Nina if she gets her way.

According to Outkick, the plan would be as follows:

“Verified people can essentially start to ‘edit’ Twitter [in] the same sort of way that Wikipedia is so they can add context to certain tweets.

Makes sense right? After all, Wikipedia is known for it’s accuracy! It’s not as if anyone has ever gotten misinformation off of Wikipedia.

Jankowicz added this as an example of how the “blue check mark” brigade would benefit Twitter,

“If President [Donald] Trump were still on Twitter and tweeted a claim about voter fraud, someone could add context from one of the 60 lawsuits that went through the court or something that an election official said…so that people have a fuller picture rather than just an individual claim on a tweet.”

Let’s forget about the fact that we don’t actually know if President Trump had proof, because pretty much all of the lawsuits filed weren’t even allowed to be heard. So technically we DON’T know if 45 had proof of voter fraud. We just have to take Nina’s word for it, because you know, she never spreads disinformation herself.

So, who would get the honor and privilege amongst the blue checks to handle the weighty responsibility of making sure the ignorant masses don’t get fooled?

Would the aforementioned ignorant masses have any say so on this matter?  Highly doubtful since Czarina Nina is charged with saving us all from ourselves.

No, my guess is it would be a select few, hand procured because of their bipartisan history and their staunch stance against disinformation. You know, like Nina.

What’s not clear is if all blue-checks would receive this proposed special edit wand or if only the good ones would.

Would the Ministry of Truth grant Michael Malice the power to fix the lies at the Washington Post?

If so, that would, indeed, derail some flows of disinformation.

If not, it’s hard to imagine a worse way to restore the truth than allowing the blue check crew to dictate the conversation, more than they already do.

Now more than ever, it’s critical that Elon Musk successfully continue his purchase of Twitter. That is literally the last stand for anyone interested in free speech.

The alternative is a platform that a select few, selected by few, get to spoon feed the masses what they judge to be real or false.

Folks, that is dangerous, dystopian stuff. The marketplace of ideas is quickly going to devolve into a state controlled spoonful of information that we will all have to swallow whether we want to or not.

Czarina Jankowicz and her evil dystopian plans HAVE to fail, or free speech as we know it is dead.
