Joe! You should know better! I know you have all of your comments, jokes, criticisms and opinions fed to you like a senior citizen at dinner time in an old folks home, but come on, man! (Did you hear his voice there?)
Actually, shame on his handlers. I’m sure one of his writers thought they came up with a hilarious burn on Elon Musk, but how wise was that?
Biden is basically a houseplant and Musk is the witty, sarcastic genius responsible for Tesla and Space X. I don’t have to explain Elon Musk. Anyone with a television, radio or internet knows how savage Musk can be.
Which makes it more puzzling that Biden’s people would put him at risk of being embarrassed like that, but he or she did, and we all get to bask in the hilarity!
What are the details? Per the New York Post:
President Joe Biden took a dismissive jab at Elon Musk over reports that the mogul has a “super bad feeling” about the American economy.
“Lots of luck on his trip to the moon,” a sarcastic Biden said at a press conference Friday when asked about Musk’s reported views.
The president’s comments came hours after Reuters reported that Musk told executives at Tesla that he wants to axe 10% of the automaker’s 100,000-person workforce due to his gloomy view on the future of the economy.
Bazinga! Got him good there didn’t you Joe? Of course, the entire nation shares that super bad feeling about the economy, but why wouldn’t we, what with record high inflation, record high gas prices, and a shortage of almost everything, including popcorn?
Nope, Biden and his clown show are doing a bang up job down there on Pennsylvania Avenue.
When asked about Musk’s dour outlook — as well as similar pessimism from JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon — Biden struck a more optimistic tone and touted recent investments from other automakers.
“While Elon Musk is talking about that, Ford is increasing their investment overwhelmingly,” Biden said, referencing Ford’s announcement on Thursday that it plans to add 6,200 factory jobs in Michigan, Missouri and Ohio.
Should Biden tout anything any of the big three automakers are doing? Right now they are all desperately in catch up mode behind Tesla, and none of the three are actually known for their fiscal responsibility or quality of their products.
Oh, and what else do all three have in common? Oh yea, that’s right, unions.
Musk has been an outspoken critic of Biden in the past, claiming that Biden favors automakers like Ford and General Motors because he is “captured by the unions” that represent workers in their factories.
Whether you are a union fan or not, Musk isn’t wrong. Dems are always going to favor union companies.
The best from Musk was yet to come however. After getting wind on social media about Joe’s sick burn, Elon simply said:
In response to a clip of Biden’s comments on Twitter, Musk wrote, “Thanks Mr President!” and included a link to a 2021 NASA press release about the space agency selecting SpaceX to work on a future lunar mission.
Sick burn indeed. So while Joe is charging at windmills and blaming everyone and their brother for the nations woes, Elon Musk is cashing government checks while prepping Space X for a manned moon flight on the government’s dime.
Thanks Mr President!https://t.co/dCcTQLsJTp

Who got burned here Joe? I’m scoring this one for Elon Musk.
