As Britain prepares to embark on a long weekend of street parties, celebrations, and concerts, Harry and Meghan have reportedly landed in the UK after a flight from LAX airport ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee events set to begin tomorrow. But with the Sussex’s approval rating at an all-time low, the pair is likely to receive a very frosty reception from the British press and public.
The family landed at a London airport this afternoon after the 12-hour flight, along with a small staff team just a few months after Harry claimed it was “too dangerous” for him to return to the UK without the Royal family paying for his security.
The Queen, 96, will be able to meet her great-granddaughter Lilibet, who was Christened after the Queen’s childhood nickname, for the first time on Saturday, which happens to be the little girl’s first birthday.
Both Andrew and the Sussexes were barred from the Buckingham Palace balcony as the RAF Red Arrows salute the Queen in their traditional fly-over during the Trooping of the Color parade tomorrow, as palace insiders worried that too much attention on the controversial trio may cast a negative shadow over the historic celebrations.

On Saturday night, the younger Royals will attend a Platinum Party outside Buckingham Palace, which will feature performances from Diana Ross, Queen+, Duran Duran, and Alicia Keys.
Their highly criticized tell-all Oprah Winfrey interview, in which Meghan claimed that members of the Royal family and what she called the “firm” were racist towards her, created a turbulent year for the Sussexes.
Harry also made critical comments about his father, Charles, suggesting that he had expected him to “suffer” because he had.
Many Brits felt a sense of disappointment that Harry had not followed his brother William’s example and had considerably weakened the Royal family’s future in what felt to the public like a purposeful and coordinated assault designed to destroy the British monarchy.
No surprises here!

After a ceaseless round of attacks on what seemed like every American chat show they could think of, Harry and Meghan caused concern as they announced an in-our-home style documentary just ahead of the Queen’s Jubilee.
In public opinion polls earlier today, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan’s popularity ratings among Brits have plummeted to an all-time low. Meghan Markle is viewed ‘negatively’ by twice as many British adults as views her positively, and Harry didn’t fare much better.
According to the MailOnline, the pair have since promised that they will strive to keep a low profile this weekend after the monarch “ordered the family to come together” with “no dramas.”
It is not yet known whether the Netflix camera crew will follow the show-biz-loving couple throughout the weekend, but it will almost certainly be the final nail in the coffin if they do.
A Royal source told the MailOnline: “Her Majesty believes it will send a strong message to the world, that despite the family’s trials and tribulations over the past few years, those at the very top are united in getting on with the job, sharing her sense of duty and dedication to serving the people of this country and the Commonwealth.”
