Judges In Louisiana, Utah, Make Moves To Squash Ban On Abortions

A judge in the state of Utah has put out a restraining order to prevent the state’s abortion “trigger law” from going into effect for 14 days.

If you have not yet become convinced that the current judicial and governmental systems in this country have become fundamentally corrupted by the scourge of progressive thought, I’m not sure you’ve been paying attention to what’s really happening in the United States.

And clearly, this is about far more than just politics. There is something dark happening beneath the surface of our nation, something spiritual and demonic in origin. I don’t mean to sound like a hellfire and brimstone preacher, and I promise I won’t sermonize here, but I pray people to open their eyes to the fact that the devil is indeed alive and well.

“Judge Andrew Stone of the 3rd District granted Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union of Utah’s request for a temporary injunction following an emergency hearing Monday,” the report stated.

The trigger law in Utah was passed in 2020 but was contingent upon the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which the Supreme Court did Friday.

The law bans abortions from being performed in the state with several exceptions that include rape or incest, the health and safety of the mother, and fetal viability.

In reality, I don’t think there should be any exceptions, and a lot of pro-lifers would agree with that sentiment.

Utah wasn’t the only state to take action to block a trigger law. A judge in Louisiana took a similar course of action.

There are about a dozen other states in the country that have passed trigger laws similar to the ones in both Louisiana and Utah.

“The immediate effects that will occur outweigh any policy interest of the state in stopping abortions immediately. Doctors here are threatened with felonies. Affected women are deprived of safe, local medical treatments to terminate pregnancies,” Judge Stone from Utah stated concerning the decision.

“The office for Utah GOP Gov. Spencer Cox said the governor won’t comment for now on the litigation but will watch carefully as the legal process unfurls,” the report continued.

It’s not surprising that the left is fighting back so hard. They’ve had a very tough week. The Supreme Court has been issuing decision after decision that goes against their belief system, and they are feeling backed into a corner.

They were never going to go down on this issue without a fight. While it might be frustrating to see this happening, remember that God is in control. Good things are happening. Evil is being exposed.

And we all knew that the decision last Friday was only the beginning. So keep up the good work. Pick your head up. Babies all over America are counting on us all to be out there working hard to preserve their lives in a culture desperate to kill them in cold blood, all for the sake of convenience and a twisted idea of what it means to be successful.
