Remember the good old days? You know, penny candy, walking uphill to school both ways, mean tweets, cheap gas?
Specifically, the last two are the ones I’d like to return too, though penny candy sounds pretty sweet, pun intended.
Unfortunately, Brandon in the White House is in charge of things for the time being, so we may be walking EVERYWHERE soon.
Ah, for the good old days of the scary orange man and his mean tweets.
So, how bad are things going to get? If I was a gambling man, I’d say A LOT. Gas prices, food prices, clothes, literally everything is going up, and fast. Probably none as fast as gasoline. What can we expect moving forward?
Per Outkick:
Gas prices have more than doubled under President Joe Biden’s administration. The price for a gallon of gas has doubled since Biden took office in January 2021.
The average price for a gallon of gas nationwide was approximately $2.39 on Jan. 20, 2021, according to AAA. But as of Saturday, the price for a gallon of gas has skyrocketed to $4.81, up five cents from Friday.
The New York Post reports that a Chevron station in Mendocino, California, was charging $9.60 a gallon for regular gas on Friday afternoon — more than $3 a gallon above the state average of $6.30, and $4.78 higher than the national average of $4.82, per AAA.
Well, so much for “Putin’s price hike”. But we all knew that was a lie from the start, didn’t we? This upward spiral started long before Putin and any of his hijinks. “Putin’s price hike” is simply a catchphrase the Dems started to shift blame.
Didn’t work. Speaking of, how are people in some higher-priced locales going to work? How are they taking the kids around town to their respective activities? Not to mention, how are they taking ANYTHING resembling a summer vacation.
If there’s one thing this country needs after almost two years of senseless Covid restrictions, it’s a vacation! Now, thanks to Joe Biden and his idiotic, anti-American energy policies, that’s just another busted hope for many Americans.
The Post reports that prices have also surged in New York, where AAA shows the statewide average has hit $4.851. The average price for a gallon of gas in all boroughs — except Staten Island — topped $5 as of Saturday morning.
OutKick founder Clay Travis said that as gas prices are at an all-time high, things don’t look like they will be changing any time soon.
“Joe Biden is reportedly traveling to Saudi Arabia, which he called a pariah state, to beg for them to produce more gas so that the price of a gallon of gas will go down,” Travis said. “I filled up my car yesterday, set another all-time high for what those gallons of gas cost. This, it feels like, is never going to actually end as we go forward. The situation in Saudi Arabia. Joe Biden evidently ending the pariah state allegations and now going on bended knee back to Saudi Arabia as the Saudis likely thought would end up happening to beg for them to produce more.”
This is disgusting. The most powerful, and wealthiest country in the world has to grovel on bended knee to a country that hates us, just to get some gas.
Trump Memorial Day gas prices: $1.96
Biden Memorial Day gas prices: $4.60
Pass it on.

What to do? Buy an electric car? Sure, people that can’t afford gas now can plunk down 50k on an entry-level electric car, no problem!
How about mass transit? Well, I suppose that helps a tiny percentage of the country that lives in big cities. I suppose folks in the country can just ride a horse?
I guess we can go around the world, hat in hand, and beg for more production from countries that KNOW they have us over the proverbial oil barrel.
How about this? REMEMBER! We will soon have the chance to vote these idiots out of office. We will survive, but we MUST NOT FORGET. The people responsible for this mess must be held accountable. It’s going to hurt in the meantime, but buckle up kids, we will make it, then we can make it right in 2024!
