Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a Democrat, is apparently not very happy about the Supreme Court daring to uphold the Constitution and overturn Roe v. Wade which returns the abortion issue to the states.
Because not being able to murder your unborn child is absolutely horrific for the radical left. Why? Well, because you’re forcing them to do the one thing they already despise doing more than anything else: Take personal responsibility for their actions.
Just how ticked off was Lightfoot? Mad enough to scream to a crowd over the course of the weekend, “F*** Clarence Thomas!” Such a classy lady. Then again, it’s a pretty good representation of the city as a whole.
According to The Daily Wire, “In his concurrence, Thomas went farther than the other conservative justices, calling for the concept of substantive due process to be thrown out and reconsidering ‘all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell.’ Griswold v. Connecticut enshrined the ‘right to privacy,’ Lawrence v. Texas ruled that people had the right to ‘seek autonomy’ in their private relationships, and Obergefell v. Hodges enshrined the right to same-sex marriage.”
“If you read Clarence Thomas’ concurrence … f*** Clarence Thomas,” Lightfoot, who is a member of the LGBTQ community, hollered. She raged, “If he thinks we are going to stand idly by while they take our rights … ”
Ma’am, I don’t know if you know this, but, you’re a lesbian. Basic human biology makes it clear that you and your partner cannot get pregnant. Therefore, you have zero need ever to have an abortion. On top of that, there is no right to murder children.
One other point, if I may. If I’m not mistaken, abortion is still legal in the state of Illinois, so what, exactly, are you crowing about?
Also, on a totally unrelated note, has anyone ever noticed that Lightfoot looks like she just sauntered off the set of The Walking Dead? This woman needs to see a medical doctor to check if she still has a pulse.

Here are more details from The Daily Wire report:
In Thomas’ concurrence, he first explained the rationale for the conservative justices overturning Roe using substantive due process: “The Court well explains why, under our substantive due process precedents, the purported right to abortion is not a form of ‘liberty’ protected by the Due Process Clause. Such a right is neither ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition nor ‘implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.’”
But then he segued to decimating the concept of substantive due process: “As I have previously explained, ‘substantive due process’ is an oxymoron that ‘lack[s] any basis in the Constitution.’”
He quoted himself from another case, McDonald v. Chicago: “The notion that a constitutional provision that guarantees only ‘process’ before a person is deprived of life, liberty, or property could define the substance of those rights strains credulity for even the most casual user of words.”
Thomas then went on to point out the other conservative justices’ hesitation to take on substantive due process, saying, “The Court today declines to disturb substantive due process jurisprudence generally or the doctrine’s application in other, specific contexts. Cases like Griswold v. Connecticut, (right of married persons to obtain contraceptives); Lawrence v. Texas, (right to engage in private, consensual sexual acts); and Obergefell v. Hodges (right to same-sex marriage), are not at issue.”
That’s when Thomas took things farther than the others, stating, “For that reason, in future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous,’ we have a duty to ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents.”
Thomas continues to prove he’s a man of principle who takes his job to uphold the Constitution seriously. He’s also not afraid to do and say what is uncomfortable, not fearing the crazy leftists who will oppose every word he’s written on these topics.
We need more of this in our country.
