According to Oklahoma Republican Congresswoman Stephanie Bice, it would be a “complete misstep” for President Joe Biden to reconsider the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which is known as the Iran nuclear deal.
And you know what, she’s absolutely right on the money.
It was a bad idea when former President Barack Obama entered the deal. It was still a bad idea when Trump pulled out of it. And it’ll still be a bad idea when Biden starts to work on it. Actually, it might be even worse given his ineptitude.
“We need to really be focusing on making sure that we’re pushing back on the regime and focusing on looking at what we can do to keep this country safe,” the Oklahoma Republican went on to say during an interview on Newsmax‘s “National Report.”
The president is supposed to be meeting with leaders from both Israel and Saudi Arabia during his trip to the Middle East, with Iran and the America-hating country’s nuclear program expected to be big topics of discussion.
During the interview, Bice also took an opportunity to talk about the border crisis, saying it’s “unacceptable” that the current administration does not seem interested in dealing with the root of the problem and bringing this problem to an end.
“We don’t have just a border crisis, but we have a national security crisis, and we have a healthcare crisis because this administration is ineffective and unwilling to address the real issues here on the southern border,” she went on to say. “The amount of fentanyl that has crossed into the United States since President Biden took office is enough to kill every American nine times over, and this is just unacceptable.”
Bice said the drug situation that is being exacerbated by the border crisis is becoming dire, noting that the number one cause of death for individuals between the ages of 18-35 is fentanyl overdose.
“The fentanyl that we’re seeing cross into the United States is being manufactured in China, and the Border Patrol agents need help,” the congresswoman said. “They are woefully understaffed. They have been worked to the bone, and they’re ineffective in being able to execute the mission that they’ve been tasked to do, which is to secure our southern border.”
Bice stated that she’s already visited the border twice, heaping a ton of shame on Biden as he’s not even paid ONE visit to the area, sending Vice President Kamala Harris in his place. During her visits to the border, Bice revealed that she spoke with officers that are short-handed and in desperate need of the additional National Guard troops that Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered.
However, she said that the Biden administration is “allowing this and actually encouraging it. They want to remove Title 42 to be able to allow for more immigrants to cross, and Texas is having to spend billions of dollars, literally $2 billion, to try to secure their own border.”
You know, when you look at the Iran nuclear deal, the border crisis, the botched Afghanistan troop withdrawal, it really begins to look like Biden does not care at all about national security.
