Fox News host Tucker Carlson left former New York Times columnist Ben Smith stumbling and fumbling all over his words after the radical leftist attempted to get Carlson to say that he thinks “white people have some claim on America that people of other races don’t.”
According to a report from TheBlaze, Dave Rubin played the video clip from the interview, which was part of an event to help launch Smith’s new media company Semafor, and pointed out how fast Carlson turned the former NYT columnist into a “sweaty, smarmy mess.”
“Tucker is the main pushback against all of these people, these people that have nothing,” Dave went on to say in his commentary on the clip. “That clown Ben Smith knows that Tucker Carlson is not a racist … but it’s all that they’ve got. All that they’ve got is, ‘Oh, you somehow are stoking white outrage.’ The funny thing about it is that they’re the ones that are stoking white outrage all the time. They’re the ones who are always talking about white privilege and how evil white people are and the patriarchy and all those things, and then they turn to the people who are saying, ‘Hey, that’s not true and we don’t like identity politics,’ and then they say to them … ‘you’re the racist.’”
Rubin then added, “I think that this is what the left gets wrong about their political opposition and that’s why they’re losing.”
This had to be super embarrassing for Smith, as Tucker managed to completely flip everything around on him, in a segment he was no doubt going to hype the hell out of for the launch of his new company.
Instead, he was owned. That has to be a big pin prick to the inflated ego this guy possesses.
The left has been trying for a long, long time to say that Carlson is a racist, among many other things, because he is such a popular pundit and has a prominent place in conservative culture.
How many stories have we seen where liberals try to pin the blame for what happened on January 6, 2021, on Carlson? Not to mention recent mass shootings, stating that things he talks about on his program inspired the shooters.
According to the Daily Wire, the radical left tried to directly blame Carlson for the Buffalo massacre earlier in the year, saying, “The Times cited the gunman’s alleged support for so-called ‘replacement theory,’ an antisemitic conspiracy theory that claims Jews are importing minorities to change the country’s racial makeup. Some have conflated that theory with claims that Democrats favor amnesty for illegal immigrants in order to change the voting demographics of the country, which Carlson has asserted.”
“No public figure has promoted replacement theory more loudly or relentlessly than the Fox host Tucker Carlson, who has made elite-led demographic change a central theme of his show since joining Fox’s prime-time lineup in 2016,” the Times wrote in their report.
As you can see, the leftist media have been trying for a long, long time to destroy Tucker and his influence over the average American in the political sphere.
