A physician who is now at the center of a national story concerning an abortion given to a 10-year-old rape victim could now become the main focus of an investigation herself, according to Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, a Republican, he stated on Wednesday.
This absolutely needs to be done. An abortion should have never been granted to this young girl. I know that sounds horrible, given the fact she is so young and was the victim of an absolutely horrendous act carried out by a monster who should be punished to the fullest extent of the law, but murdering an innocent child for the sin of the father is never okay.
According to TheBlaze, Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an OB/GYN who works out of Indianapolis and is an outspoken proponent of murdering pre-born children, spoke with several news outlets, revealing that she provided the procedure to a 10-year-old girl from the state of Ohio after she was contacted by a child abuse doctor in the state last month.
“According to Bernard, the child was pregnant — six weeks and three days — but could not receive an abortion in Ohio after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade,” the report revealed.
“The story raised significant red flags because, despite being repeated by national news outlets and even President Joe Biden, no one had independently corroborated the story. Even Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost (R) said this week that his office had heard “not a whisper anywhere” about the victim or the perpetrator,” the report stated.
Unfortunately, this story was finally confirmed to be true after law enforcement officers arrested 27-year-old Gershon Fuentes, who was an illegal immigrant to the United States, on Tuesday this week.
“Speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Rokita said his office will investigate Bernard because she purportedly failed to disclose the case to law enforcement,” TheBlaze reported.
The mandatory reporting law in the Hoosier state requires any person who suspects child abuse to report the incident to law enforcement.
“We have this abortion activist acting as a doctor with a history of failing to report,” Rokita said. “So, we’re gathering the evidence as we speak, and we’re going to fight this to the end, including looking at [Bernard’s] licensure if she failed to report. In Indiana it’s a crime to intentionally not report.
“This is a child, and there’s a strong public interest in understanding if someone under the age of 16 or under the age of 18 or really any woman is having an abortion in our state,” he continued. “And then if a child is being sexually abused, of course parents need to know, authorities need to know, public policy experts need to know. We all need to know as citizens in a free republic so we can stop this.”
Rotika then slammed Bernard and the media for “politicizing” this awful story for the purpose of “killing more babies.”
“They were right there jumping in on all this, thinking that it was gonna be great for their abortionist movement when this girl has been so brutalized,” Rotika commented.
This is a horrific situation. There aren’t enough words to genuinely express how much pain and suffering was caused by this sick and twisted man. However, it was not okay for the baby to be murdered. It just wasn’t.
Now, for the rest of her life, not only will this poor kid struggle with healing from what this monster did to her, but also with the knowledge that she, and her family, murdered a child. Pray for her.
