Just when you think they can’t possibly get any more hypocritical, the Sussexes go one better.
As Prince Harry, 37, stepped up to give a speech about poverty during the UN’s Nelson Mandela Day commemoration, the Hollywood glamor couple have come under serious scrutiny (again) about their own lavish lifestyles.
Harry was the speech-giver of honor at the event in New York yesterday. The woke prince touched on numerous topics including the Covid 19 pandemic, [redacted], climate change and poverty – but many have pointed out that the pair rarely practice what they preach!
During their time in New York, Meghan Markle strutted around the city as though she’s on a high fashion catwalk runway, changing eye-wateringly expensive outfits numerous times a day.
As Harry prepared to lecture the UN about world poverty, his wife lovingly clutched his arm. She wore an outfit worth around $3500.
During his speech, Harry gave a warning about climate change. He said:
“This crisis will only grow worse, unless our leaders lead, unless the countries represented by the seats in this hallowed hall make the decisions – the daring, transformative decisions – our world needs to save humanity.”
He also said that he feels that Africa is a “lifeline”:
“It’s where I felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died, and where I knew I found a soulmate in my wife,” he said.
“As so often happens in history, the consequences of decisions made by some of the most powerful people in some of the wealthiest countries are being felt even more deeply across the continent of Africa.”
The prince re-joined his woke wife as he wrapped up his speech about desolate people in Africa. The ’let them eat cake’ Duchess donned a black Gucci pencil skirt which would set you back a cool $1500, Manolo Blahnik heels which cost about $655 and a matching black Mulberry handbag priced at $1436.
In 2019, around 490 million people in Africa lived under the poverty line.

Just hours after Harry’s heartfelt speech about poverty and those who are struggling all over the globe, his wife attended a lavish lunch date with her friend and fellow woke activist, Gloria Steinem.
This time, the hypocritical Duchess wore some designer shorts by Dior and a $452 Nia clutch bag by Cult Gaia.
It comes a few short weeks before Steinem and Meghan gave a joint interview to Vogue about the Roe V Wade abortion law debate.
After the luncheon, Meghan made her third outfit change of the day before heading to an up-market Italian restaurant with Harry and some friends.
Meghan sparkled as she showed off her $350,000 engagement ring and Princess Diana’s $23,000 Cartier Tank Watch as she and her husband undoubtedly put the world to rights over their hideously expensive vegan pepperoni – or does the whole ‘animal lover’ thing go out of the window behind closed doors too?
Meanwhile, plain speaking Brexit politician Nigel Farage slammed Harry’s latest ‘do as I say, not as I do’ nonsense, quipping that the entitled Royal had “never done a day’s work in his life”.
“Prince Harry has been to the United Nations today; goodness only knows why they invite him,” said Farage on GB News.

“But just to cap the lot, to an empty room at the UN I’m pleased to say, Prince Harry has been talking about poverty in Africa.
“A man who has never had to do a day’s work in his life, who has got a private jet, who has got a big advance from Netflix”.
It’s not the first time the pair have come under fire for their hypocrisy.
As Harry lectured world leaders about dealing with climate change and pollution, the entitled pair regularly take private jets to fly around the world.
During the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, the Sussexes took their children on a $192,000 return journey from LAX to London Heathrow which would have amounted to around 30 times the carbon emissions than if they had opted to take a commercial flight.
So far, the climate change activists have taken private jets at least 21 times during the course of their relationship.
