Let me just be clear. Animal protesters can be the absolute worst. From gluing their hands to a counter at Starbucks, to crapping on an American tradition like the Nathan’s Fourth of July hot dog eating contest, animal activists can be some of the biggest turds in the punchbowl.
However, sometimes they get it right. Personally, not to sound insensitive, but I couldn’t care less about animals raised for HUMAN use. As I’ve said before, I am #teamhuman. Cows, chickens, piggy’s, fry them up! I love a nice, soft leather jacket.
There are some animals though that I salute the protesters for sticking up for. Monkeys, dogs, cats, pretty much anything I could dress in a little sailor suit or cuddle with.
Tony Fauci is a ghoul, we all know this, and probably the most destructive public “servant” of our lifetime, and that’s just where Covid is concerned. Let’s take a look at what else Tony had cooked up that protesters smacked down. Per the Washington Examiner:
Under fire from foes of federal animal testing, the agency headed by COVID-19 czar Anthony Fauci has canceled a plan to start new tests of allergy medicine on beagles, some as young as 6 months.
In a letter to Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and promoted by the White Coat Waste Project, Fauci said that instead of dogs, the new hay fever drug will be tested on rodents.
“Although the contract to Inimmune Corporation proposed the use of murine and canine preclinical animal models, after consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the company elected to proceed using two rodent models only,” wrote Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “No experiments utilizing the canine model are being conducted under this contract.”
Well doggone! A big victory for animal activists, and beagles everywhere! The rodents, not so much, but at least they won’t have itchy, watery eyes.

On a far more serious note, why would you need to test on 6-month-old beagle puppies? I’m no scientist, I don’t even play one on TV, but a beagle puppy? Do beagles get runny noses and watery eyes? Ok maybe they do, but do we really need to do drug testing on any critter that can give you kisses? Woof.
In a statement shared with Secrets, Ernst said, “Dr. Fauci was barking up the wrong tree when he decided to use government dollars on dog testing. These inhumane practices have no place in our government — much less on the taxpayer’s dime. Thankfully, after voicing our concerns and shining a light on these heinous tactics, taxpayers can rest easy knowing their hard-earned money is not going towards dog abuse.”
These folks aren’t wrong. Taxpayer dollars SHOULD NOT be used to fund research on animals like dogs, cats, etc. Considering the state of our nation and economy, perhaps federal tax dollars shouldn’t be funding testing like this at all.
Aren’t there about fifty different allergy medicines on the shelf and countless more by prescription? Do we need more at the expense of beagles and tax dollars?
Here’s the fact. Tony Fauci is a government bureaucrat first, a ghoul second, and a scientist last. Why he is in charge of anything related to public health or using taxpayer money is beyond me. He has literally failed at everything Covid related and shouldn’t even be drawing a paycheck.
However, that is getting ahead of myself. I am confident come 2024 Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump will release the hounds and Tony Fauci will get his.
