Singer Macy Gray did an interview with Piers Morgan that was posted to Twitter on Monday where she made a few statements that are sure to make her a prime candidate for mentally ill free speech haters involved in the cancel culture movement.
One thing that probably landed her in the hot seat with the left was when she was asked to define “What is a woman?” And, unlike many folks in this day and age, she actually had a coherent and rather hilarious answer.
“A human being with boobs,” Gray stated, bursting into laughter. “You should start there.”
She then added with a quickness, “And a vagina!”
According to TheBlaze, Gray then stated, in no uncertain terms, that getting medical procedures done to give a man breasts or a vagina does not make a biological male into a biological female.
“And I will say this — and everybody’s gonna hate me — as a woman, just because you go change your parts doesn’t make you a woman,” Gray went on to state during the interview. “Sorry.”
Morgan agreed with her.
Folks, Macy and Morgan are both right. This is an accepted part of biological science, and it is absolute insanity to try and say otherwise. No matter how hard a transgender individual might try to be a different biological gender or sex, it can never be. That’s not how it works.
Rather than allowing people, especially young people to harm themselves through gender reassignment surgery and the use of hormones, we should be encouraging those who suffer from gender dysphoria to get the kind of mental help they need to learn how to be comfortable in the body they have.
“Gray then elaborated more on the subject, explaining that women are not just a collection of particular body parts but are total beings who experience the world and life in an entirely different way than men do,” TheBlaze said.
“Women go through just a completely unique experience. And surgery or finding yourself doesn’t change that,” Gray explained. “You know, being a little girl is a whole epic book. You know? And you can’t have that just because you want to be a woman.”
“Though both Gray and Morgan repeatedly reaffirmed their support for the rights of transgender people to live according to their perceived internal identity and to have others abide by that internal identity, they also pushed back against accusations of transphobia leveled at others who don’t agree with the concept of transgenderism or who object to biological males taking over women’s sports,” TheBlaze reported.
“I don’t think you should be called transphobic just because you don’t agree with” the transgender movement, Gray told Morgan. “There’s a lot of, you know, judgment and throwing, you know, stones at people for just saying what [biological sex] is.”
Morgan, who has himself been targeted by cancel culture for things he’s said about the transgender movement, told Gray she might end up becoming their next target.
Gray then said, “But it’s the truth!” making a reference to biological sex, which those of us who aren’t completely out of our minds call “settled, foundational science.”
Isn’t it amazing that saying something as simple as “biological males cannot become biological females,” gets you labeled a bigot? We’ve collectively, as a society, lost our marbles.
Future generations will laugh at the absurdity of all this, years down the road.
