State Health Department Report Suggests Horrible Fate For Babies That Survived Abortions

A new report that has been released by the state Health Department has revealed that as many as five babies who managed to survive attempted abortions in the state of Minnesota were left to die.

It’s hard to fathom the kind of cold, heartless evil, the sheer and utter lack of humanity one must possess to see a child survive an awful procedure like this and just leave them to die. If this doesn’t convince you there is something deeply, spiritually, wrong with the individuals who perform abortions, then you need to open your eyes.

No normal person would be okay with just leaving a baby to die like that. The doctors who perform abortions are well aware that they are killing innocent human beings. They simply do not care. Life is cheap to them. It’s not about providing a service to help others. Those who persist in this line of work are in it to satisfy a blood lust.

A report from The Daily Wire said, “According to the state’s Born Alive Infants Protection Act, a born-alive infant resulting from an induced abortion is recognized as a living human. The law requires that ‘reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice shall be taken by the responsible medical personnel to preserve the life and health of the born alive infant.’”

“For the calendar year of January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021, 5 abortion procedures resulting in a born-alive infant were reported,” the health department report revealed.

The report detailed how one baby who had fetal “anomalies” passed away “shortly after delivery.” And the most heartbreaking and disturbing bit of information is that “no measures taken to preserve life were reported and the infant did not survive.”

Two other born-alive babies received “comfort care measures” but “did not survive.” The “comfort and care measures” are not defined in the account, first reported by The Daily Caller.

Two more born-alive babies, described in the report as “previable,” also had no reports that they received any care in an effort to save their lives. The gestation of the babies is not reported.

Scott Smith, a communications specialist for the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), directed The Daily Wire to the department’s Abortion Reporting System page when asked for comment on the matter. Smith said he could not further comment on the specific cases, per Minnesota law.

“As part of that system, MDH is required by law to maintain the confidentiality of the underlying case data and does not provide any comment about cases beyond what is in the report,” Smith said, citing Minn. Stat. sec. 145.4134.

Not surprisingly, Democrats have mostly refused to pass any sort of laws that would protect children born alive after a botched abortion.

Sen. Ben Sass, a Republican from Nebraska, has, in recent years, to push through Congress a piece of legislation known as the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.”

The bill would mandate that doctors try to save infants who survive abortion procedures rather than allowing them to die and then criminalizes any person who “intentionally performs or attempts to perform an overt act that kills a child born alive.”

“If an abortion results in the live birth of an infant, the infant is a legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States, and entitled to all the protections of such laws,” the legislation reads, going on to add, “Any infant born alive after an abortion or within a hospital, clinic, or other facility has the same claim to the protection of the law that would arise for any newborn, or for any person who comes to a hospital, clinic, or other facility for screening and treatment or otherwise becomes a patient within its care.”

Back during the 2019 vote, there were only three Democrats who voted in favor of the bill. Three.

Sen. Bob Casey Jr. (D-PA), Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), and Sen. Doug Jones (D-AL). That’s it.

The bill, of course, did not pass the Senate with a vote of 53-44.

You have to be totally depraved in order to be okay with allowing infants who survive abortions to suffer and die a horrible death. Pray for our pre-born children.
