TV Reporter Poses With Horrifically Disgusting Sign At Pro-Abortion Rally, Immediately Gets Torched

A television reporter from Australia who was covering protests concerning the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade was forced to apologize after she posed with an awful, vile anti-Christian sign and then posted the image on her Instagram account.

What in the world would possess someone to do something like this? Have we become that brain dead when it comes to how we express ourselves on social media? Common sense, along with basic human dignity, has been tossed in the garbage.

Secondly, why are people in Australia protesting against Roe being overturned? It’s not even their country! Mind your own business for goodness sake.

Lana Murphy, a reporter with Channel 9 was in the city of Melbourne to cover protests, when she decided to pose for a picture with a sign, cheesing it up. The message on the sign, once it was posted on social media, resulted in massive backlash against both Murphy and the station, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

“Mary (the virgin) should’ve had an abortion,” the blasphemous sign said.

According to a report published by the Daily Wire, “Catholic writer Joel Agius tweeted that the sign was bad enough, but the fact that Murphy was proud enough of the photo to post it on her social media account compounded the transgression.”

“What she did was extremely disgusting,” Agius posted on Twitter. “She chose to post this Christian hate on her own Instagram account. She made the conscious decision to do it. We’re just calling her out on it.”

The Channel 9 network issued an apology on Tuesday, stating that it had sent Murphy for counseling on why the message featured on the sign was inappropriate. The answer, of course, is because it is blasphemy against the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was sent to take away the sins of the world, a message held to in faith by millions and millions of people worldwide.

“The journalist did not mean to cause any offense but has been counselled on why the post was not appropriate,” the network went on to say in its statement. “9News apologizes to anyone offended by the post.

“We respect all sides of this sensitive issue and pride ourselves on reporting with impartiality,” the statement finished.

Murphy also issued a statement where she apologized for the messaging of the sign and acknowledged how it might be considered offensive. Yeah, just a little offensive.

Geesh.

“The words on the sign and my subsequent posting of that image on my personal social media account has caused offense to some in the religious community,” she went on to say concerning the incident. “This was not my intention, and I wholeheartedly apologize to those that were hurt.”

Now, this doesn’t mean she was sorry about offending Christians. That’s not the case at all. It seems from the statement she was more worried about betraying her objectivity as a journalist than her promotion of anti-Christian bigotry.

“I acknowledge that in my professional role, it was not the appropriate time to appear to have chosen any side,” she stated.

Again, why in the world are these people sticking their noses into our business? Hey Australia, yeah, the country who used concentration camps to sequester people during the thick of the coronavirus pandemic, get your own house in order before telling us to do the same.
