Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was forced to flee out the back door at a restaurant located at the nation’s capital by angry pro-abortion activists while he was attempting to eat dinner, a report from Politico revealed.
The news outlet later confirmed the incident took place inside Morton’s The Steakhouse.
According to Newsmax, the restaurant released a statement concerning the incident, and it’s pretty safe to say the radical leftists who think this sort of “protesting” is appropriate are going to be pretty sore after they read it.
“Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were unduly harassed by unruly protesters while eating dinner at our Morton’s restaurant,” the statement read.
“Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner. There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all of our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency,” the statement continued.
Politico reached out to the Supreme Court for a comment about the incident but as of this writing, none has been made.
This isn’t the first time that Kavanaugh has been harassed by pro-abortion activists.
Back in May, a draft opinion concerning the Dobbs case was leaked to the public, which revealed that the court was going to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that legalized abortion across the United States.
Right off the bat, pro-abortion advocates, seething with hatred and foaming at the mouth, started showing up outside the homes of justices, threatening them and their families if they opted not to change their mind and leave Roe in place.
Well, one protester took things to a whole new level when he — yes, it was a man — showed up outside of Kavanaugh’s home in Maryland, armed to the teeth, in an apparent plot to assassinate him.
The man eventually called his sister and the conversation ended with him abandoning his plan and calling the police instead. When the police arrested him, he was armed with a Glock 17 pistol, a knife, and a tactical vest, along with some zip ties.
This dude was not playing around.
When he was asked why he would want to assassinate Kavanaugh, he said it was because he was afraid that the court was going to overturn Roe and that they would not enact some form of gun control after the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
Why this man, who can’t have children, was so concerned about abortion rights that he would decide to murder someone is kind of difficult to wrap the mind around, isn’t it?
Anyway, this sort of ambush style protesting is not okay. Not only is it disturbing Kavanaugh, but all of the people in the restaurant and impacting its owner’s ability to conduct business. It’s disruptive in a bad way.
It also doesn’t win anyone to your side, either.
Which these baby murder supporters don’t seem to care about in the slightest. Here’s to hoping folks simmer down and accept the new reality. Abortion will be decided state by state.
