What This Extreme Leftist Mag Just Called Biden Is A Total Insult To Our Founding Fathers

When you think of the term “visionary” the last person on planet earth that you probably think of is President Joe Biden. After all, this is a man who has to have a list of detailed instructions just to make it through the day. Half the time the guy can’t remember the question a reporter asked him five seconds ago. The other half of the time Biden wanders around, oblivious to where he is.

Not the kind of qualities you’d expect in a “visionary,” yet that is precisely what extreme leftist magazine Salon called the president, going on to essentially spit on the legacies of all our founding fathers by placing the absent-minded commander-in-chief among their ranks.

I wish this were a joke, but unfortunately, it is not.

According to The Daily Wire, there was an article written by Matthew Rozsa at Salon that created this comparison, going on to essentially stated that Biden’s greatness is simply missed by his peers.

It’s probably missed by Biden himself as well, along with the rest of his marbles.

“From the start of his administration, he has pushed for an ambitious economic program: expanded access to health care, major investments in job creation, financial assistance to parents, accelerated development of green energy and other steps to address climate change,” Rozsa went on to write in the piece. “To this point, the political fates have cursed Joe Biden with the same bad luck that afflicted Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton and other founding fathers at their most ambitious but least effective — but without granting him anything close to their storied accomplishments or historical legacy.”

This man wrote all of that with a straight face. That seems pretty unbelievable. How much money do “journalists” like Rozsa get paid by the Democratic Party to be propagandists? Must be a pretty penny.

As a historian, I can find no similarities among Jefferson, Washington and Biden. This is pure fiction on the part of the Salon reporter. Biden has no leadership skills and has been in government service for 47 years with no progress for the people but enriched himself.

It’s not like Rozsa didn’t know that his comparison would draw ire from many in American culture who would never dare place Biden in the same category as folks like Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson. The very title of the article, “How Joe Biden Is Like America’s Founding Fathers — and no, I’m not kidding,” seems to anticipate that push back.

Here’s the truth.

According to the Daily Wire report, the vast majority of conservatives consider Biden, who has an approval rating below 40 percent, to be the worst president since Jimmy Carter, and possibly even of all time.

Now that’s quite an accomplishment. Hey, at least Biden will go down in history books.

Rozsa got completely destroyed on Twitter for making this ridiculous comparison.

“I’m getting nauseous!”  Jeff Kirsh posted on the social media site. “It’s July 4^th and you’re putting Biden in the same sentence with Washington & Jefferson!”

“Washington and Jefferson were great leaders,” wrote Gary Pettis. “Can you deny that? History will remember Joe Biden to be a weak leader who handled self-created crises ineptly. He’s like Carter, which proves that Progressive Democrats talk a good game to the middle class, but they can’t govern.”

Rozsa goes on to admit that without the founders, “the United States would not exist today,” before acknowledging that Jefferson was a “complicated genius.” But just like Biden, he says, Jefferson had many progressive ideas that got shot down by small-minded contemporaries.”

“Jefferson’s inability to realize his economic vision doesn’t detract from his overall legacy, but it certainly offers some perspective on how even revered statesmen can have important ideas that go nowhere,” Rozsa says in the piece.

Another user on the platform said Rozsa needs to be spending more of his free time on reading than on writing.

“Far left Salon writer should read the Federalist Papers before making a fool of himself saying Biden comparable to Jefferson & Washington,” posted  Jack Bones.

“A 2021 survey of historians by C-Span rated Washington as the second-greatest U.S. president, behind only Abraham Lincoln. It ranked Jefferson seventh. Biden was not included in the survey,” the Daily Wire said.
