Check Out What FBI Director Had To Say About Allegations FBI Mishandled Hunter Biden Info

FBI Director Christopher Wray spoke in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, telling them that allegations concerning agents of the bureau falsely labeling accurate information about Hunter Biden as disinformation were “deeply troubling.”

Yeah, it certainly is, Director Wray. The reason why this is disturbing is because it fits in with a pattern that is being put forward by the FBI of corruption and bias toward left-wing politicians and causes that has becoming more and more evident.

The FBI is not supposed to be bias in its duty of enforcing the law. We are not supposed to have a two-tiered system of justice. Someone needs to clean house at the bureau. Like yesterday.

According to Newsmax, “At Thursday’s hearing, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, disclosed whistleblower allegations that FBI supervisory intelligence agent Brian Auten opened an assessment in August 2020 — and that was used by FBI headquarters to label accurate information about President Joe Biden’s son as false.”

“Grassley said another whistleblower said Timothy Thibault, the FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office, shut down a line of inquiry into Hunter Biden in October 2020 despite some of the details being known to be true at the time,” the report continued.

“I want to be very careful not to interfere with ongoing personnel matters,” Wray went on to say after he was asked about the allegations made by Sen. John Kennedy, a member of the GOP from Louisiana. “I should say that when I read the letter that describes the kinds of things that you’re talking about, I found it deeply troubling.”

“The Washington Examiner reported that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz last month said Thibault, who investigated public corruption in Washington, D.C., may have violated the Hatch Act over his social media posts criticizing then-President Donald Trump and then-Attorney General Bill Barr in 2020,” Newsmax reported.

The director was then asked whether Thibault was or currently is working on the investigation into Hunter Biden.

“The investigation that you’re referring to … is being run out of our Baltimore office working with the Delaware U.S. attorney,” Wray answered.

“I will tell you that what you’re describing is not representative of the FBI that I see up close every day in this country, where I see patriots working their tails off with tremendous integrity and objectivity,” Wray continued.

We’ve seen a ton of information coming out over the course of the last few years that showed various individuals connected with the FBI in various ways, including former Director James Comey, were involved in a plot to try and remove former President Donald Trump from office during his presidency.

We cannot, it seems, trust the FBI to carry out their mission of enforcing federal law when a crime crosses state lines. Then again, when have we ever been able to really trust an agency within the federal government. I don’t think it’s ever been wise to do so, and the agency’s mishandling of this Hunter Biden situation is a prime example of why.
