Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a Democrat from New York, took time on Thursday to issue a public apology to President Joe Biden over recent comments she made stating she did not think he should seek a second term in office come 2024.
This is some serious butt kissing and groveling that will honestly make you sick to your stomach. Maloney clearly has zero self-respect, because a person who has any kind of respect for themselves would never grovel like this in front of a president — as if he were a monarch — after rightly criticizing any thoughts he might have of running for office when he’s well into his 80s.
According to the Daily Wire’s report, “Maloney, 76, is in a hotly contested Democratic primary with Rep. Jerry Nadler, 75, and 38-year-old attorney Suraj Patel for New York’s 12th Congressional District. During a debate on Tuesday night, Maloney said she doesn’t “believe he is running for re-election” when asked about Biden seeking a second term in the White House.”
The following day she posted up a tweet thread concerning the comments.
And then, by Thursday, she was totally groveling, practically on her knees, on live TV. Pathetic.
“Mr. President, I apologize,” Maloney went on to say during a chat with CNN anchor Brianna Keilar. “I want you to run. I happen to think you won’t be running, but when you run or if you run, I will be there 100%. You have deserved it.”
“You are a great president and thank you for everything you’ve done for my state and all the states and all the cities in America,” the Democrat continued. “Thank you, Mr. President.”
Don’t you almost feel embarrassed for her? It’s that painful to see this woman essentially begging for forgiveness like this.

“I will absolutely support President Biden, if he decides to run for re-election,” Maloney stated in a tweet she published on Wednesday. “Biden’s leadership securing historic investments for healthcare, climate & economic justice prove once again why he is the strong and effective leader we need right now.”
“I urge all Democrats to stay united & focused on working towards winning the midterms,” the congresswoman said. “Right now, I am concentrating on the upcoming Democratic primary on August 23rd & the issues that matter to the voters of #NY12.”

Patel’s campaign wasted zero time taking advantage of the groveling to mock Maloney, which she truly deserves.
“Carolyn Maloney is on an embarrassing, multi-day flip-flop non-apology tour where she’s now walked back her walk back,” the campaign stated in a press release, completely destroying Maloney, according to a report from Yahoo.
Maloney is far from the only person in the Democratic Party who thinks Biden should probably bow out of running for office in 2024. However, many of those individuals who were openly critical about the idea of the president giving the White House a second shot have also tried, now, to avoid answering questions regarding the topic.
Like everyone’s favorite liberal bozo, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who did a little jig all around questions concerning whether or not she would support a 2024 bid from Biden.
“I just want to ask about President Biden,” CNN’s Dana Bash went on to ask AOC during an interview. “He is saying he’s going to run again in 2024. Will you support him?”
“You know, if the president chooses to run again in 2024, I mean, first of all, I’m focused on winning this majority right now,” Ocasio-Cortez answered. “And preserving a majority this year in 2022. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. But I think if the president has a vision, then that’s something we’re all certainly willing to entertain and examine when the time comes.”
Bash then said, “That’s not a yes.”
“Yeah, you know, I think we should endorse…when we get to it,” AOC stated, continuing to do the cha-cha all around Bash’s questions. “But I believe that the president has been doing a very good job so far. And, you know, should he run again, I think that I — you know, I think it’s — we’ll take a look at it. But right now, we need to focus on winning a majority instead of a presidential election.”
