According to Whoopi Goldberg, a liberal co-host of ABC’s “The View,” God favors the murdering of unborn kids through abortion. After previously being suspended by the network for delivering an anti-Semitic statement about the Holocaust, Goldberg said on Wednesday that abortion is allowed because God gives individuals the “freedom of choice.”
“And as you know, God doesn’t make mistakes,” Goldberg pointed out, “God made us smart enough to know when it wasn’t going to work for us. That’s the beauty of giving us freedom of choice.” “The View” co-host and pro-life guest Elisabeth Hasselbeck rebuffed Goldberg’s words, repeating “No” twice.
Hasselbeck confronts The View cast on options for women outside abortion. “There are thousands of agencies that wrap around women that might not be able to care for the baby once born…that will come around at no cost…” pic.twitter.com/cPExbuPNIj

“Yes, because I know my relationship. You know, my relationship is always choppy. It’s always choppy with God, always, because I have a lot of questions,” Goldberg said. “But I also know that God made me smart enough to know that if there are alternatives out there that can work for me, I will investigate them. But I also know God said, ‘Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you; I will not make that decision for anybody.’“
“What about the life in the womb?” Hasselbeck was perplexed at the time. “You know, I will say this, that life has a plan and a purpose designed by God. I don’t believe there are any circumstances where we should give [inaudible].“
According to Goldberg, it makes her happy to hear that Hasselbeck shares her sentiments. Despite this, she doesn’t believe she can ever choose someone who doesn’t know better, as well as the fact that God knows her heart and the hearts of most of us. Before adding that everyone on the “table” is not pro-life. She wants to emphasize that nobody is happy about going to get an abortion. It’s a pain.
“That’s not pro-life,” Hasselbeck answered back. “It’s a hard, hard decision. Life has a plan and a purpose, and there are agencies out there that will help you keep that baby alive.”
After incorrectly alleging that neo-Nazis had been permitted into the Student Action Summit held by Turning Point USA (TPUSA) the previous weekend, “The View” was compelled to apologize last week.
Sara Haines read a legal notice to Goldberg towards the end of the first portion of Wednesday’s program last week, as the hosts were wrapping up the first segment before the commercial break.
Turning Point USA’s Florida Student Action Summit was disrupted by protestors wearing neo-Nazi garb, according to Haines. The group said there was no invitation or endorsement from Turning Point USA for these protestors.
“A Turning Point USA spokesman said the group 100% condemned those ideologies. Turning Point USA security tried to remove the neo-Nazis from the area but could not because they were on public property. Also, Turning Point USA wanted to clarify — wanted us to clarify this was a Turning Point USA summit and not a Republican Party event. So we apologize for anything we said that may have been unclear on these points.”
