Remember when Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser made a request for help from the National Guard in dealing with the thousands of illegal migrants being shipped into the sanctuary city from Texas and Arizona, who, frankly, have had enough of the current administration doing absolutely nothing to secure the border and stop the current crisis?
Well, according to TheBlaze, the Department of Defense has officially denied that request. Someone get this woman a box of tissues, because with all of the problems she and her city are about to face, she’s definitely going to be crying herself to sleep.
And you know what? I do not, in any capacity, feel sorry for her. Not even a little. This is only a taste of what folks living in border states have suffered with over the course of the last year and a half that Biden has been in office.
TheBlaze report said, “Kelly Bulliner Holly, the executive secretary of the DOD, responded to Bowser’s July 19 letter to the office of Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin, writing: ‘After careful consideration the Department has concluded it cannot fulfill your request.’”
“Holly highlighted the fact that the city already has access to federal funding through SAMU First Response, a non-governmental organization that has itself received funding via the Emergency Food and Shelter Program by FEMA. Responding to the language of Bowser’s request that the influx of over 4,000 illegals constitutes a ‘humanitarian crisis,’ Holly noted that SAMU First Response ‘supplements funding for humanitarian relief efforts by government and social service organizations for the purposes of providing shelter and supportive services to families and individuals,’” the report continued.
Bowser asserted back in 2016 that her city, our nation’s capital, was a “sanctuary city,” going on to say, “We celebrate our diversity and respect all DC residents no matter their immigration status.”
The assumption here, of course, is that if you happen to be a person who dares to support the rule of law, who understands that if you don’t have borders that are secure, you have no country, just like a house without doors and windows is not a home, you are somehow a vile racist who hates immigrants.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Conservatives and the vast majority of regular Americans love immigrants. Much of our society has reached the level of greatness it now enjoys because of the endless contributions of those who have come here from other countries.
However, those immigrants followed the law of the land and came here legally. They respected our country enough to come through the front door instead of sneaking through the back window. They have a stake in this nation because of that. And honestly, we want more folks who take that route to come to America, to bless our nation with their presence and their contributions, which make our society and culture rich.
The fact that Bowser has had her inconsistency exposed with this recent wave of illegal immigrants bussed into her city has made her the subject of ridicule.
“While Breanna Morello suggested that the request for support by the National Guard might be tantamount to bigotry, Paul Szypula intimated that Bowser might be prejudiced against foreign nationals,” the report from TheBlaze said.

Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott recently pointed out to Bowser that what her city is going through is only a fraction of what they have gone through since the border crisis began.
In April 2022, Abbott, who Bowser is accusing of participating in “cruel political gamesmanship,” discussed his campaign to send these migrants to D.C., saying, “What better place for them to go to than … closer to the people making these policies that are allowing people to come across the border illegally?”
Just before the DOD handed down the rejection for help, Abbott issued a warning, stating that there are “more buses on the way.”
TheBlaze says there has allegedly been a whopping 6,500 illegal migrants shipped up to D.C., and noted they are now in the process of sending some up to New York City.
The 1st bus of migrants has arrived in NYC.
Biden refuses to do his job, so Texas continues to take unprecedented action to secure our border.

This is exactly what the corrupt Democrats in D.C. deserve. It’s a taste of their own medicine. Something needs to be done immediately to stop the influx of illegal migrants from crossing the border.
And it’s a simple fix.
Build the wall, secure the border. Then enforce the immigration laws we have on the books.
That’s it.
But, of course, if that happens, then the left loses its plan to shift demographics in this country and build up an army of liberal Democrat voters for the midterms and 2024 presidential elections.
