Cannibalism was suggested as a bizarre strategy to prevent global climate change at a symposium in Stockholm.
According to reports, Magnus Soderlund, a professor and researcher at the Stockholm School of Economics, thinks that consuming human flesh, which is obtained from dead people, may be able to assist in the preservation of the human species if only a global community were to “awaken the notion.”

The New York Post reported, during a panel session at the Gastro Summit titled “Can You Imagine Eating Human Flesh?”. Soderlund’s case in favor of cannibalism was front and center. According to him, “conservative” taboos against cannibalism might alter over time if individuals just try eating human flesh. This could lead to the practice being more acceptable.
At the seminar, some of the topics that were discussed included the question of whether or not people are too self-centered to “live sustainably” and whether or not cannibalism is the answer to the problem of food sustainability in the future.
When asked during an interview after his talk if he personally would try human flesh, Soderlund said he was open to the idea.
According to the Post Soderlund was even asked if he would be open to eating humans and here was his response:
“I feel somewhat hesitant but to not appear overly conservative … I’d have to say … I’d be open to at least tasting it,” he told Sweden’s TV4.
He suggested more plausible options such as eating pets and insects. Before human meat becomes the next cuisine trend, however, history shows there are potential health risks to cannibalism.
A culture in Papua New Guinea had a tradition of eating their deceased as an alternative to leaving them to be eaten by worms. This was done to prevent the bodies from becoming food for the worms. A sickness known as kuru, commonly referred to as laughing death, became prevalent as a direct result of the cultural practice.
An infectious protein that is discovered in infected human brain tissue is said to be the root cause of the sickness, as stated by the National Library of Medicine in the United States. In the year 1960, cannibalism as a cultural norm among the inhabitants of New Guinea was finally eradicated.
In the 1960s during a major famine report of cannibalism in China popped up all throughout the country. Fast forward 12 years when a rugby team from Uruguay crashed in the Andes mountains, many of the survivors resorted to eating their dead teammates. So, cannibalism is not a new idea but has rather occurred during extreme situations or satanic rituals.
The reason China started eating every animal, & canabalism, is traced back to 1958 Four Pests Campaign, which caused the worst Famine in history. China has not learned from this, & has poisoned their own infertile lands, its why they have taken over Africahttps://t.co/yxC69IaWB1

A recent article by the New York Times revealed that cannibalism is now becoming very trendy in movies and books. In the article, the NYT reported how author Chelsea Summers’s new book “A certain Hunger” has been selling off the shelves.
