New York Times Writer Makes Outrageous Claim Against Tucker Carlson Voting For Trump

Just a few days after first publishing a report stating that Fox News had shadow banned former President Donald Trump, Jeremy Peters, writer for the New York Times, stated during an interview with Newsmax host Eric Bolling on Monday evening that popular primetime host Tucker Carlson did not actually vote for Trump, nor does he have a high regard for those who support him.

Now, I don’t know about anyone else here, but I don’t really trust a whole lot of information that comes out of the New York Times, seeing as how they have abandoned any semblance of real journalism in exchange for being a propaganda machine for the radical left, so I’m not sold on this guy’s claim.

“There are a lot of people, Eric, who snicker behind Trump’s back, who say that they support him publicly and they like his ideas, and they like him, but privately, it’s a different story,” Peters went on to say, according to Newsmax.

“In private, what [Carlson] says about Trump is very different than what he says about Trump in public, and it benefits him to be seen having photos taken with Trump at the golf course and everything,” Peters continued during the interview.

Peters has apparently put out a new book where he examines conservative media, called “Insurgency: How Republicans Lost Their Party and Got Everything They Ever Wanted.”

“I quoted him in my book. [Carlson] said, ‘I am voting for Kanye West.’ This is in 2020,” Peters added.

“But he didn’t vote for Trump, as far as we know. I mean, I don’t know. I wasn’t there with him in the ballot box, but we know that Tucker Carlson is one of these people who benefits from having the Trump audience on his side but thinks very little of the people who make up that audience,” the writer continued.

Peters then went on to say that there isn’t much of a relationship between Trump and Fox News’ Rupert Murdoch or his son Lachlan, who is serving as the CEO of the Fox Corporation.

“It’s a fight between two very powerful figures: Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan, who controls Fox Corporation, on the one hand and Donald Trump,” Peters said during his conversation with Bolling. “I think we’ve seen this time and time again where they are always looking to one up one another – show each other who’s boss.”

“And, you know what? In this fight, there really is no boss,” he added.

Peters then claimed that Trump has not been interviewed on any cable network owned by Murdoch for over 100 days now, while other members of the GOP have been receiving the attention instead.

However, the New York Times writer then predicted that Fox News would come back to covering Trump when it would be most beneficial for the network.

Again, I don’t know that I trust this guy all that much, so whether or not Tucker Carlson actually voted for Trump, I can’t say one way or the other. It’s certainly possible that he didn’t.

But we have no reason to believe this guy is telling the truth, so what he’s saying here definitely needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
