Pompeo Makes Excellent Point About Trump Raid By Citing Hillary Clinton, Benghazi

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who once served as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency before becoming the secretary of state during the Trump administration, dropped the proverbial hammer on the FBI following their raid on the Florida home of former President Donald Trump on Monday, going on to shine a spotlight on the disparity between that raid and how twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was treated.

The FBI’s raid on Trump’s house was revealed in a statement released on Monday by the former president himself and reports have indicated that the whole thing revolved around classified documents. But does anyone really buy that?

It’s just a few months away from the 2022 midterm elections and the left is expected to lose big time due to their failed policies sending inflation into the stratosphere, and we’re supposed to really, truly, believe that there’s no political motivation here?

Especially when there have been massive hints that close to or right after the midterms Trump will announce his bid for the presidency in 2024?

It just seems way too convenient.

According to a report from The Daily Wire, “The House Benghazi Committee released an 800-page report in June 2016 which claimed several damning actions or inactions regarding the terrorist attack that murdered four Americans in the Benghazi compound in Libya on September 11, 2012, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.”

Some of those claims are that “The State Department headed by Clinton knew the Benghazi compound was undermanned; requests for increased security at Benghazi were either ignored or outright refused by the department; political concerns delayed the Obama administration’s response to the attack, and that Clinton and others in the Obama administration parroted the false narrative that the attack was a response to a video.”

The report also noted that there was a “shameful” stonewalling of the investigation into the matter by the Obama administration, especially when it came to the private email server of Hillary Clinton.

“What may appear at first blush to be a lack of competence on behalf of the State Department now appears fully intentional and coordinated,” it went on to say in conclusion. “Delaying the production of documents sought by letter, informal request or subpoena has decided political advantages for those opposing the investigation.”

Back in August of 2017, U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, put out an order for the State Department, which was being headed up by Hillary Clinton who was serving as secretary of state, to look into its own emails concerning the Benghazi incident.

In his ruling, Mehta wrote, “To date, State has searched only data compilations originating from outside sources — Secretary Clinton, her former aides, and the FBI. … It has not, however, searched the one records system over which it has always had control and that is almost certain to contain some responsive records: the state.gov e-mail server.”

“If Secretary Clinton sent an e-mail about Benghazi to Abedin, Mills, or Sullivan at his or her state.gov e-mail address, or if one of them sent an e-mail to Secretary Clinton using his or her state.gov account, then State’s server presumably would have captured and stored such an e-mail. Therefore, State has an obligation to search its own server for responsive records,” the judge continued.

The overall point is that the right has never treated a leftist president as badly as liberals have treated Trump. It’s okay to dislike someone in power. What’s not okay is to become like a wildly obsessed ex-girlfriend who has become possessed by the idea of getting back at her ex-boyfriend by any means necessary.

And that’s what it feels like to be caught in the middle of this circus.
