Republicans are demanding that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg testify before Congress after he revealed that the social media giant purposefully censored content that exposed the material on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Speaking to Joe Rogan, Zuckerberg admitted that Facebook chiefs had implemented an algorithm that automatically blocked or hid articles about Hunter’s laptop in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election after the FBI got involved.
The revelations have caused an uproar and many in the GOP say that the censorship of the stories could have had a major impact on the election results, particularly considering the type of extreme content which was present on the laptop including videos showing Hunter taking crack cocaine, hiring prostitutes and colluding with Chinese businesses.
Republicans have vowed that they will thoroughly investigate the suppression of the articles along with Zuckerberg’s involvement and the FBI if they take the House in the midterms.

Yet only yesterday, president Biden stood on a stage in Maryland and accused Trump supporters of being anti-democratic!
“The FBI colluded with Big Tech to silence news stories weeks before the 2020 election in an attempt to control your access to information,” said GOP House leader, Kevin McCarthy.
“Democrats in Congress have been intentionally ignoring the facts. When Republicans are back in charge, we will hold all of them accountable.”
Ron Johnson urged “whistleblowers to come forward to expose the truth, hold people accountable and restore integrity and credibility to the FBI and federal agencies. We need to get to the bottom of this corruption.”
According to Zuckerberg, Facebook technicians implemented an algorithm to push any story about the laptop down the user’s newsfeed so that they would be unlikely to see it.
Meanwhile, Twitter, which was then run by radically woke Jack Dorsey, completely banned users from posting articles relating to the story, even going so far as to ban the New York Post just weeks before the election for daring to expose the truth about the laptop’s vile content.
Zuckerberg defended the decision to censor the story and said that the platform was waiting to see whether or not the story was true, although this is not a luxury that was ever awarded to articles relating to Donald Trump or right-wing politicians!
“I think it was five or seven days when it was basically being determined whether it was false. The distribution on Facebook was decreased, but people were still allowed to share it. So you could still share it. You could still consume it,” he said.
The revelation reveals just how much influence and power social media platforms have at controlling what the public can see, even to the point where the big firms could influence election results.
Top employees from both Facebook and Twitter have been exposed claiming that the platforms have left-wing bias and that staff are encouraged to censor right-wing material.
Zuckerberg went on to excuse Facebook’s censorship, suggesting that Twitter had completely blocked the story and thus his company should be let off the hook for potentially swaying a presidential election:
“So our protocol is different from Twitter’s. What Twitter did is they said “You can’t share this at all.” We didn’t do that,” he continued.
“If something’s reported to us as potentially, misinformation, important misinformation, we also use this third party fact-checking program, cause we don’t wanna be deciding what’s true and false.”
Yet more evidence that the Dems are the anti-democratic party and that big, left-wing companies are dangerously politically biased.
