Donald Trump has continually claimed that Biden must have been aware of the FBI’s plan to raid Mar-A-Lago after the president denied that he had been given prior warning to the event.
“Joe Biden said he knew nothing about the Break-In of Mar-a-Lago or, the greatest political attack in the history of the U.S. Does anybody really believe this???” wrote Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social.
His daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, 39, echoed his words earlier today as she accused Biden of telling lies about his knowledge of the planned raid before it happened after Biden insisted he had “zero” advanced warning of the event.
Speaking to Fox just hours before the justice Department was due to submit the affidavit which was used to obtain a search warrant for the property, Lara said:
“I don’t think anyone believes Joe Biden. We know it’s a lie”.
The affidavit will include eye-opening information about why the raid went ahead and the reasons given behind the controversial search which left Trump’s family home ransacked by FBI agents.
The Justice Department has been forced to produce the revelatory documents by Trump’s legal team who say that the documents could prove the search had no valid reasoning behind it and was executed for political reasons.
Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart will decide whether or not to release the affidavit with the JD’s redactions.
Lara Trump asks “who is in charge of the White House” if Biden didn’t know about the Mar-a-Lago search — I can understand why she’d be confused by a president not incorrectly steering the DOJ for political purposes

Lara, who is married to Trump’s son, Eric, 38, said she believes that the real motive behind the raid had a lot to do with the possibility that Trump could run for president again in 2024:
“It’s ridiculous to assume that the current president did not know about an FBI raid from his own Department of Justice on the last president – and a person that he may be running against in the upcoming 2024 election.”
Throughout the discussions surrounding the controversial raid which saw a team of agents allegedly ask staff members in the Floridian mansion to turn off the security cameras (which they refused to do), Biden has said that he had no idea that any search was going to be carried out.
He continued this line despite the revelation of a document which proved archival officials had contacted White House lawyers about paperwork that was handed in by an ex-president.
“I didn’t have any advanced notice. None. Zero. Not one single bit,” promised Biden as he made a zero symbol with his fingers.
But Lara hit back at the president’s plea of ignorance:
“I don’t think anyone believes that. And, if you do believe that, then who is in charge at the White House?” she asked, before going on to echo Trump’s demand for the original documents to be released:
“I think for the good of the future of America, we should get a fully transparent, unredacted version,” she said.
“I’m not confident that’s what we are going to get. I’m sure they are going to try to conceal as much as possible.”
While judge Reinhart warned that the full release of the material could render is ‘meaningless’, he ruled that it was in the best interest to release the un-edited documents as the high-profile individuals in it could easily be identified even if their names were removed:
“Given the public notoriety and controversy about this search, it is likely that even witnesses who are not expressly named in the Affidavit would be quickly and broadly identified over social media and other communication channels, which could lead to them being harassed and intimidated.”
