Former Vice President Mike Pence visited New Hampshire recently in an attempt to start warming up to voters. The former vice president spoke as if he is confident that he will be a top candidate for president in 2024.
During a speech that he gave in the state of New Hampshire, he proclaimed how conservatives must respect the FBI and the agents who work for the agency. He lambasted conservatives for criticizing the FBI after its raid on Mar-a-Lago. It was the clearest indication that Pence has officially cut off all ties with President Trump.

In response to Pence’s visit to New Hampshire Fox News host, Tucker Carlson said Pence was delusional to ever think he has a chance to be the GOP’s 2024 presidential candidate. Tucker would go on to say that Pence should fire his consultants for encouraging him to run for president.
Mediaite had more details to share on Tucker’s comments:
Tucker Carlson was unsparing in his criticism of Mike Pence Wednesday night, allowing that the former Vice President is a “nice guy,” but he also “spent four years getting bossed around by Donald Trump like a concubine.”
The Fox News host openly mocked Pence for being in New Hampshire, where the former Vice President made some news in defending the FBI from Republican attacks following an apparent retrieval of classified documents from former President Trump’s Palm Beach mansion Mar-a-Lago.
If Pence thinks he is capable of becoming a leader in the GOP while not even being willing to express the harsh truths about the FBI, then Carlson is 100% right to say that Pence is suffering from a case of self-delusion. It is hilarious to see people act as though there are only a few rotten apples at the top when it is abundantly evident that this is not the case. In addition, as Carlson points out, there is nothing about Pence that indicates he is the kind of leader who is capable of running in a free-thinking primary for the presidency of the Republican Party.
Watch him say it here:

Over the last few months, Trump and Pence have expressed their frustration with one another and it’s very clear the two will not run together in the 2024 election but rather be opponents.
Neither Trump nor Pence have officially thrown their hat in the big race yet but many are betting that will change after the 2022 primaries.
Some names that have been tossed around for Trump’s running mate are Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis, Rep. Elise Stefanik, and Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem.
As for Pence’s potential running mate that is extremely unclear because whoever decided to run with Pence would be committing political suicide.
