Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke, who is a class A weirdo of the highest order, was gloriously heckled by a group of demonstrators who were dancing along to Kid Rock music and holding up signs that said “Abbott for Governor” as he left a campaign event in Texas on Friday.
According to The Daily Wire, O’Rourke had finished up an hour-long campaign stop in the city of Rockdale, Texas on Friday evening and walked through a crowd of Republicans on his way back to his truck who were all seemingly supporters of Gov. Greg Abbott.
The crowd was also getting down to “We the People” by Kid Rock.

“O’Rourke is using the months left before the election to hit campaign stops across Texas, even in deep red Milam County, which voted more than 75% in favor of former President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. O’Rourke is hoping to make up ground with a blitz across the Lone Star State in his longshot attempt to unseat Abbott, who is running for his third term in the office,” the report stated.
“O’Rourke’s signature issue is gun control, and he is campaigning to ban AR-15 rifles and other firearms. He also wants to repeal the state’s constitutional carry law and implement red flag laws and other gun control reforms,” the report continued.
O’Rourke’s claim to fame as a Democratic candidate is his anti-gun activism. Back on May 25, O’Rourke interrupted a press conference that was being led by Gov. Abbott concerning the mass shooting that took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, where a gunman left 19 students and two teachers dead.
While Abbott was speaking, O’Rourke came up to the stage and then made accusations against the governor stating that he wasn’t doing enough to fight against gun violence.
“The time to stop the next shooting is right now and you are doing nothing. You are offering us nothing,” O’Rourke stated during his stunt. “This is totally predictable when you choose not to do anything.”
Critics were quick to slam O’Rourke, accusing him of taking advantage of the tragedy in Uvalde as a campaign stunt. While O’Rourke confronted Abbott, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick referred to the Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate as an “embarrassment” and then told him to sit down.
Truer words about Beto have never been spoken. This guy is just straight up weird and very, very desperate to have a career in politics. He’d do or say anything to be relevant and talked about because he longs to be validated as someone important. He already believes he is in his mind. But he wants the rest of us to back up his delusion too.
Don McLaughlin, the mayor of Uvalde, who was sharing the stage with Abbott during the incident, also had a few words for O’Rourke.
“Sir, you are out of line. Please leave this auditorium,” McLaughlin went on to Yell at the Democratic candidate. “I can’t believe. You’re a sick son of a b****, you would come to a deal like this to make a political issue.”
Right on, Mayor McLaughlin.
