Joe Biden on Tuesday conveyed a strong message in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania that showed his escalated verbiage against “MAGA Republicans” in Congress months before the midterms. During another blame speech towards Republicans, Biden heavily defended the FBI amid growing threats following the organization’s hunt of previous President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
“It’s sickening to see the new attacks on the FBI, threatening the lives of law enforcement agents and their families for simply carrying out the law and doing their job,” Biden told a crowd in Wilkes-Barre. “Look, I want to say this clear as I can: There’s no place in this country, no place, for endangering the lives of law enforcement. No place. None, never, period. I’m opposed to defunding the police. I’m also opposed to defunding the FBI.” – Sort of like how the police cannot do their jobs due to peaceful protesters such as black lives matter?
The FBI has seen numerous threats against department staff and property following the Mar-a-Lago raid, including some against specialists recorded in court records as being engaged in executing the court order. A few Republicans as of late have given calls to “defund the FBI,” flagging Trump’s hold on the party. Biden additionally offered a blistering critique of Republicans in Congress who are lined up with Trump and declined to censure the brutal January 6, 2021, assault on the US Capitol.
“Let me say this to my MAGA Republican friends in Congress: Don’t tell me you support law enforcement if you won’t condemn what happened on Jan. 6. Don’t tell me. Can’t do it. For God’s sake, whose side are you on?” Biden asked.
Biden called out Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham who warned that there would be violence if Trump somehow managed to be indicted. “The idea you turn on a television and see senior senators and congressmen saying, ‘If such and such happens, there’ll be blood in the street?’ Where the hell are we?” Biden said.
Tuesday’s comments were based on Biden’s informal midterm campaign opening that occurred last week, in which he offered one of his most keen reprimands of MAGA Republicans and told a gathering of Democratic contributors that the Make America Great Again plan and the meaning behind it is nothing more than “semi-fascism.” Biden was in Pennsylvania to promote his request to increase the authoritative power in the country, which includes recruiting and preparing 100,000 cops throughout the following five years. – It makes you wonder if this is the reason the government and IRS are buying up tons and tons of ammo.
Biden said that he’s fed up with not providing the kind of help the authorities need and that we need to give them additional resources to get their job done. I’m sure by saying that he wants us to give up our rights to defend ourselves, and our guns, and completely rely on the government and his police.
