There’s nothing more entertaining than watching liberal heads explode like popcorn kernels in the microwave, so any time something happens that will produce such an effect, you can bet your sweet mama’s bottom I’m going to be there to write about it.
And nothing accomplishes this phenomenon faster and with more vigor than when a minority fights back against the left’s twisted idea of “social justice,” rejecting it and exposing it for what it is.
That’s exactly what happened when a young Hispanic woman who is currently attending San Francisco State University, which just so happens to be the first College of Ethnic Studies in the country, rejected the current ethos on college campuses and condemned the school for attempting to force “social justice” on students.
A report published by the Daily Wire said, “The young woman was interviewed by philosopher Peter Boghossian, who in the past was part of a group including James A. Lindsay and Helen Pluckrose that exposed the leftist slant in several academic fields by submitting bogus papers to academic journals for acceptance, some of which were published. The trio referred to the ‘Grievance Studies’ organized around victim groups; one paper was hilariously titled, ‘Human reactions to rape culture and queer performativity at urban dog parks in Portland, Oregon.’”
“I’m a math major so I’m a STEM major,” the young Hispanic woman went on to tell Boghossian. “So in my school they’re starting to bring in social justice. I’ve talked to the school and my department and I’m like, “Why are you doing this? Why are you bringing in something, something that has to do with social justice that has nothing to do with STEM?”
“And the excuse that they want, that they bring to me, is because of ‘minorities,’ she said, growing angry, “Poor minorities. I’m a minority; I’m a Hispanic. And I’m a woman.”
The bright young woman then recounted how she responded to the school’s effort to make her into a victim.
“And I’m like, ‘I’m not a victim; I don’t need you to feel sorry for me. We don’t need social justice.’ And they keep saying, ‘Oh, yes we do, because we’re a social justice school; that is what we do. And if you don’t want to be here you don’t have to be here; you can leave,’” she said.
Making a gesture with her fingers to add a little extra “oomph” she then continued, “And — and — and— my concentration is in teaching. An advisor told me this: I told her, ‘I’m not a bad person; I actually care about the education system and making sure minority students actually get into STEM.’ That’s my mission and my purpose. And I’m like not a bad person.”
“You know what she told me?” she went on to ask rhetorically. “She told me this: ‘Oh, we don’t know that yet.’ She told me this not once: two times. Two times in different locations.”
“You know something? We don’t need social justice. At all,” she finished.
Student discusses how Social Justice crept into her STEM degree:
“I’m a minority. I’m Hispanic and I am a woman. I’m not a victim and I don’t need you to feel sorry for me.”

How refreshing is it to see a young lady like this with her head totally on straight? We need more people like this in our country. I have no doubt she’s going to be a fine teacher, one who actually cares about her students and wants them to succeed. The problem is we don’t encourage free thinkers like this in our society.
What the left wants are robots who will think what they tell them to think and will do what they tell them to do. There’s no room for autonomy in the world the left wants to create. That is something we must fight against.
