Daughter of psychologist and philosopher Jordan Peterson, Mikhaila Peterson, has come out and responded to the claim made by actress Olivia Wilde that the villain in her film, “Don’t Worry Darling” was based on her father, according to a report from the Daily Wire. Peterson has become a controversial figure for taking a bold stand against cancel culture and feminism, while also promoting true masculinity in an age when such a thing has been labeled “toxic” by the radical left. In other words, the left hates him because he tells the truth and encourages dudes to be dudes.
Mikhaila shared a video of herself responding to the claim, which featured a FaceTime call with her dad to get his reaction to Wilde referring to him as the “king of the incels” and a “pseudo-intellectual.” Oh look, the bigshot Hollywood star is throwing around a few fancy words to make herself look all sorts of smart and artistic. Isn’t that just adorable?
“‘Don’t Worry Darling’ has been based off of my dad because apparently he’s ‘king of the incels,’” Peterson’s video kicked off. The Canadian podcast host then went on to read a headline from Rolling Stone: “Chris Pine’s ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Character Inspired By Incel ‘Hero’ Jordan Peterson.”
“Frank was partly based on this insane man, Jordan Peterson, who is this pseudo-intellectual hero to the incel community,” she continued to read from the piece. You can immediately tell that Wilde has no actual clue in hell who Peterson is, nor has she read any of his work. Not really. That comes across very clearly. The way she says this, it seems she created a character based on what other people told her Peterson was like rather than doing the research for herself to validate those claims and get the real story on him.
For those who might not know what the term “incel” means, it’s typically defined as someone that is “involuntarily celibate,” referencing a group of individuals online who have described themselves as being unable to find a romantic partner and blame the subset from which such a partner might come from. So, basically, a dude who is an incel will blame women for his failure to procure a partner.
“My dad is not pro-incel,” Mikhaila stated, including a clip of her dad talking about that very subject.
“So you’re a young man and all the women are rejecting you,” Jordan Peterson stated in the clip. “Who’s got the problem? It’s not all the women. That’s a bad road to go down. If all the women are rejecting you, it’s you —”
Just as the clip finished, Mikhaila’s phone buzzes, and it just so happens it’s her dad, Jordan Peterson, and she was able to share the news with him during the video chat.
“I’ve got hilarious news, almost as good as Red Skull,” she went on to say as they during the call. “You have been written in as the villain to Olivia Wilde’s new movie.”
Peterson’s daughter then read the description out loud and he reacted almost immediately.
“Wow!” he said in response. “I am the highest cited psychologist in the department at the University of Toronto by a large margin.”
“So ‘pseudo-intellectual’ isn’t how you would be described?” Mikhaila asked her father.
Ben Shapiro, Editor Emeritus of the Daily Wire, which has partnered with Peterson, summed up the situation perfectly in one tweet.
Wilde is trying to appear hip, cool, and up on current events and issues, hoping that by being so her project will do well. Or just attempting to look like a true artist among her peers in Hollywood. She’s really just a pseudo-artist though. Wink, wink.
