Finally, Serena Williams is no longer seen playing tennis. The good news is that. She sees her career as “developing,” which is bad news since it means she will impose her idiotic politics on us from different venues.
Williams announced her retirement in maybe the most appropriate manner by arguing that life is unfair and sounding like a kid who didn’t get a second ice cream cone.
Apparently, unfair and oppressed means paying more for a single tennis outfit, worn for about two hours, than most people make in a year. Yahoo! News writes:
“For her first US Open 2022 look, Williams wore a custom black Nike set she designed herself. Inspired by dresses worn by figure skaters, it featured a gem-encrusted bodice with a starry detail evoking the night sky over Arthur Ashe Stadium stadium and a tulle skirt with six layers to symbolize her previous US Open wins.
Further accessorizing the look were NikeCourt Flare 2 sneakers accented by a diamond-encrusted swoosh and gold deubrés laces woven with 400 hand-set diamonds in collaboration with Serena Williams Jewelry.”
To top it off, she wore Swarovski crystals in her hair.
Leave it to millionaire activists to have zero understanding of reality. Serena Williams may be skilled with the racket, a skill that has earned her tens of millions of dollars, but her comprehension of issues outside of the court is comparable to a two-year- old’s.
Williams has previously led us down the painful path of awakened identity politics. She has long bemoaned the obnoxiously fake problem of income disparity between genders. All we have to do is integrate their leagues to discover that Megan Rapino, Brittney Griner, and every other dumb female athlete who believes men and women should be paid equally do not act in the same way. You must perform at a level and generate the same amount of money as males if you want to get paid similarly to them. Why is this so difficult to understand?
Additionally, she founded a venture capital firm that predominantly works with black and female-owned firms. I believe in a free market where companies are allowed to operate whatever they like. Although this type of business only operates in one way, the United States does not have a free market economy.
Even the federal government offers special loans to the so-called “oppressed” classes. BLM would destroy a for-whites, by-whites male venture capitalist operation more quickly than they would rob a Foot Locker.
The fact that Williams announced her retirement from the sport that has given her fame, riches, celebrity status, and a life of luxury only experienced by.00001% of the world’s population should not come as a surprise given this. Williams did so in typical narcissistic leftist fashion.
So how does she rejoice and show her appreciation? By criticizing the patriarchy and God’s flawless plan for humans.
Here is Williams talking in her own words about a predicament that is practically as old as mankind. It must be taxing to keep oneself busy whining about biology 101:
“Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair. If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family.
Maybe I’d be more of a Tom Brady if I had that opportunity. Don’t get me wrong: I love being a woman, and I loved every second of being pregnant with Olympia. I was one of those annoying women who adored being pregnant and was working until the day I had to report to the hospital — although things got super complicated on the other side.
“And I almost did do the impossible: A lot of people don’t realize that I was two months pregnant when I won the Australian Open in 2017. But I’m turning 41 this month, and something’s got to give.”
A simple “thank you” would have sufficed.
