Bah Humbug! Vicious Vandals Vanquish 4 Power Stations On Christmas, Leave Thousands Without Electricity

A group of vandals located in Pierce County, Washington, took it upon themselves to spit a very nasty “Bah! Humbug!” on the folks in the area who were hoping to enjoy a wonderful Christmas Day by attacking four power substations, leaving 17,000 residents without electricity, according to a report from KING-TV.

TheBlaze is reporting that Pierce County sheriff’s deputies received a call around 5:30 a.m. concerning a break-in at a Tacoma Power Utilities substation. When law enforcement authorities arrived on the scene, they saw that vandals had broken into the fenced-in area and damaged the equipment. Later on that morning another substation was damaged, which led to additional power outages.

“At approximately 11:25 a.m., a third incident was reported at a Puget Sound Energy substation. Authorities noted that the attack occurred at 2:39 a.m., which resulted in power outages to 7,300 customers,” the report said. “On Sunday evening, a second Puget Sound Energy substation was damaged. Law enforcement reported that arsonists set the substation on fire, causing another 3,000 customers to go without power on Christmas.”

Darren Moss, a sergeant with the Pierce County Sheriff Department stated, “There’s a good possibility they are related. We are going to be investigating to see if this was coordinated by a specific group or people, but at this time, all we know is that we have burglaries where the power was purposefully knocked out.”

Tacoma Power distribution manager Joseph Wilson went on to say that in light of the recent incidents, the company is thinking of adding more security patrols in the vicinity of the substations, especially around national holidays.

“There are means to harden some of these facilities, but it’s a very expensive endeavor,” Wilson explained.

“The recent attacks are currently under investigation. Pierce County sheriff’s deputies said they are reluctant to declare the incidents a result of domestic terrorism since they do not currently have any suspects,” TheBlaze reported.

But guess what? The media started to lay the blame for these attacks on “extreme right wing” terrorism, despite having no evidence at all that this was the case. This was probably due to Homeland Security posting up a terrorism advisory bulletin last month. And we all know the radical leftist media, which is the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, is all about trying to craft narratives to make conservatives look like evil, vile terrorists.

The DHS stated in the warning that “threat actors could exploit several upcoming events to justify or commit acts of violence, including certifications related to the midterm elections, the holiday season and associated large gatherings, the marking of two years since the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and potential sociopolitical developments connected to ideological beliefs or personal hostility.”

“Targets of potential violence include public gatherings, faith-based institutions, the LGBTQI+ community, schools, racial and religious minorities, government facilities and personnel, U.S. critical infrastructure, the media, and perceived ideological opponents,” the bulletin added.

Independent journalist Ali Winston spoke with KING-TV, saying, “The trope of attacking power infrastructure, of hitting the electrical grid, critical infrastructure, is an old tenet of the American extreme right wing.”

According to law enforcement professionals located in Washington, the Federal Bureau of Investigation — perhaps the most corrupt government agency in existence, next to the CIA — issued a warning to authorities about other power station attacks located along the Pacific Northwest following a recent outbreak of vandalism.

In November, individuals launched attacks against two Puget Sound Energy substations. The Bonneville Power Administration, which is a substation located in Clackamas County, Oregon, was hit hard by vandals on the morning of Thanksgiving.

“Two electrical substations in North Carolina were damaged earlier this month, causing 45,000 residents to go without power,” TheBlaze concluded.
