A former aide to Joe Biden during the eons he served as a senator, has come forward and stated they want to see the new GOP House majority that is due to take over control starting in January, launch a new investigation into claims she made just prior to the 2020 presidential election. Tara Reade, who claimed that Biden, then a Senator for Delaware, sexually assaulted her during the time she worked for him back in 1993, also revealed she’d be willing to take the stand, under oath, and testify concerning the matter.
The Conservative Brief reported, “The allegations were denied by Biden and several members of his staff, but Reade persisted and refused to back down from her initial claims, though she eventually dialed back her public efforts to hold him accountable under withering criticism regarding her credibility. But now that Republicans will take control of the House in January for the first time since she made her claims, she wants the party to open a formal probe.”
“It would be a very different thing if I could testify under oath,” Reade commented during a recent interview conducted with the Daily Caller, going on to add that she is willing to “provide whatever information [Congress] needed and [Congress] could ask me whatever questions they wanted.”
Look, when a person is willing to take the stand, under oath, and testify concerning a crime they say happened against them, it’s highly unlikely they are lying about it. There is too much at stake in such a situation. Perjury is a serious offense that comes with some heavy consequences. It’s not worth it to lie about something that could land you in the slammer.
“I think we need to have the conversation, instead of me being erased, and other women that were erased that tried to come forward,” Reade continued.
When she first shared her story with the world, Reade claimed that Biden had penetrated her with his fingers after he pinned her up against a wall. Other staffers who worked for the then-Delaware senator did not recall any such incident being reported, Reade said that a formal inquiry will reveal these folks were telling a different story.
She then stated that if they had “to go under oath, I think they would have to admit something very different.”
The former Biden staffer said that she dropped her efforts on the initial assault claim that she made at the time due to intimidation.
“I was 28 years old, it was scary to hear at the time. It was at the beginning of my political career, and it kind of shut me up,” Reade told the Daily Caller.
Last Friday, Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert from Colorado posted a tweet that said she would be in support of an inquiry by Congress to look into the accusations.
“Tara Reade has asked the new GOP House to investigate her claims of sexual assault against Joe Biden. I’m for it!” she wrote.
“Thank you @laurenboebert. Sexual harassment and assault is not a partisan issue,” Reade posted in response.
Thank you @laurenboebert.

There’s so much corruption beneath the surface of the Biden family. It needs to be dragged into the light. Those who have participated in these deplorable acts need some accountability. Americans need to have their faith in the justice system restored and it all starts with holding politicians responsible for the actions they take while in office.
