We all knew when Joe Biden and the Democrats pushed through the ironically named “Inflation Reduction Act” that had provisions for 87000 new IRS agents that these newly hired goons weren’t going to be coming for the rich and corporations as the Dems tried to tell us. We knew they will be coming for us, the middle class, because the middle class foots the majority of the bill anyway. Guess what! Here they come! The federal government is implementing new changes, some specifically designed to gouge small business and individuals that use cash apps like Venmo, Paypal, and cash App. Where in the past users had a 20000-dollar threshold, the new limit is 600, so if you have an Etsy shop or a small business, prepare to be gouged in the Spring. Want to get even more angry? The Senate just passed a trillion-dollar spending bill without even reading it! Pay your taxes on the 700 bucks you made mowing lawns peasant! Check this out.
On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Evening Edit,” host Elizabeth MacDonald contrasted the Senate passing the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill that the House is poised to pass and President Joe Biden is set to sign into law despite there not being any hearings on the bill and members not having time read all of the bill with the IRS demanding taxpayers report $600 transactions on payment apps like Venmo and PayPal on 1099 forms.
MacDonald said, “They’re going to spend trillions of dollars on a bill they will not read, not hold hearings on. But now, they’re demanding every taxpayer give details on 1099 forms to the IRS about their little $600 payments on phone apps like Venmo or PayPal.”
Good morning, it has been awhile Did you know that the spending bill passed yesterday contains a gift to the IRS? It was given the authority to look into any third party payment ie Paypal, Venmo, Cash App for amounts 0ver 600.00 per year! They hire 90K agents to spy, now this!

That isn’t even a single 600-dollar transaction as some would lead you to believe. That’s 600 for the entire year! Meanwhile the Senate can’t be bothered to real a bill that could possibly bankrupt the government and affect future generations.
Former Trump economic adviser Steve Moore responded, “I thought we were going to have a less intrusive IRS. By the way, there is additional funding for the IRS in this bill. Gee, I thought when Republicans were running for Congress, they said they would not allow the additional funding. Now we know why they want 87,000 new IRS agents, to monitor if you go out and buy a sofa…then the IRS is going to want to know about that transaction.” Moore also stated that most members have Congress don’t actually know what’s in the bill.
A less intrusive IRS will never be a thing as long as our government, and specifically Democrats continue to spend money hand over fist that we don’t have. Handouts to the Ukraine, money being given to foreign governments that hate us to secure their borders rather than ours, and wasteful domestic projects like a Michelle Obama Nature Trail are unconscionable wastes of money. Who the hell signed off on paying for that? Our tax dollars are being wasted, and the IRS is about to dangle us by our ankles off a balcony until we pay Sug Knight/Vanilla Ice style. This is not ok, but the spineless, gutless RiNo Republicans in the house and senate do nothing to stop it. get your checkbook out Aunt Betty, selling those embroidered sweaters is about to cost you.
