It’s getting harder and harder to deviate from the groupthink or have your own opinions in 2023, especially if they don’t align with whatever the flavor of the moment socially is. Right now, the flavor is rainbow Skittles and the lgbtq air force. An employee of a video game company found out the hard way that you better scrub your social media back to day one lest something be discovered and get you fired. Check this out.
A video game company abruptly fired community manager Kara Lynne earlier this month. Limited Run Games (LRG) parted ways with Lynne amid a pressure campaign from a transgender activist.
The company caved after the activist unveiled to the public the real Kara Lynne. It turns out, Lynne is a fan of Harry Potter. She also follows notable conservative media accounts on Twitter.

Of course, we all know you can’t be a fan of Harry Potter currently because the author, JK Rowling has spoken out in defense of women. She is public enemy number one for the crazed trans community so admitting you like Harry Potter is akin to murdering babies, which ironically the left also loves very much. Since landing the job with the video game company, Lynne had actually stopped her interaction on Twitter with anything political. These were simply accounts she followed years ago. I guess we are going to need time machine technology to travel back and not follow Ben Shapiro.
Lynne tells National Review the pressure to fire her began when a friend of hers and influencer for Twitch asked followers their thoughts on the new Harry Potter–themed video game, Hogwarts Legacy.
“I’m personally looking forward to it! The more I see gameplay, the more excited I get. It’s hitting all the marks I’ve been wanting for a Harry Potter game.”
“Renowned British author J. K. Rowling has earned the hatred of many social-justice progressives for speaking out against the more extreme demands of the transgender movement, which she argues have begun encroaching on female-only spaces, imperiling women and girls and denying them the right to fair competition in sports,” NR explains.
The audacity of Lynne to enjoy a children’s book and a video game. Such evil and violence Rowling has perpetrated against pretend women is totally unacceptable. Never mind, these people are insane. Rowling simply thinks you should use the bathroom and facilities that align with your actual physical genitalia. In other words, sneaky dudes need to stay out of the girl’s locker room. That just sounds like common sense to me!
Lynne’s public endorsement of Harry Potter caught the eye of a Twitter account called “Purple Tinker” (@prpltnkr).
According to the Washington Post, transgender activist Jessica Blank is behind the account. Blank is also the founder of BronyCon, an annual convention for adult fans of “My Little Pony.”
Blank scoured Lynne’s timeline for past tweets she could use to pressure LRG to dismiss the Harry Potter fan. Blank landed on a seven-year-old tweet criticizing transgender-inclusive bathroom legislation.
“If you think the # of trans crying about using a bathroom is higher than the perves using the excuse, then you are what is wrong with the world,” read Lynne’s tweet.
I could stop here with just the fact that Jessica Blank is an alleged grown up that organizes a convention where fans dress up as My Little Pony characters. This is the mentality we are dealing with. However, it went further. After finding the old Tweet, the fittingly named Blank dug deeper and discovered Lynne had been following conservative Twitter accounts. How dare she?
“The community manager for @LimitedRunGames, @/KaraLynne0326, is a transphobe who follows a veritable who’s who of right-wing transphobic creeps,” Purple Tinker wrote. “Unless and until she is fired from the company permanently, I am not giving them another single dime.”
The correct response? Thanks for your dime’s! See you in hell! Unfortunately, the company caved and fired Lynne immediately. It appears that they didn’t want to fire Lynne, but simply sacrificed her for the good of the company. So brave. The company terminated her in a phone call.
“In that call, I will say that there were a lot of emotions,” she said. “I could tell they didn’t want to do what they were doing and even said they didn’t want to. They were being pressured from elsewhere. From what I was told, there were no other options presented.”
Is it any wonder more and more people are taking issue with the trans community? We are being forced to acquiesce and support their pretend lifestyle yet if someone disagrees with it or follows and likes a social media account or author that doesn’t, the trans mafia will get you fired. Unfortunately, that is the world right now, and innocent people like Lynne are being fired and excoriated for having an opinion.
