Marvel actor Dave Bautista, who plays Drax in the Guardian of the Galaxy films, has made the claim that he had a tattoo of modern-day boxing legend Manny Pacquiao removed due to comments he made that denounce homosexual acts. Because you aren’t allowed to have any sort of opinion that differs from the political mainstream’s list of pre-approved beliefs, or else you get disqualified and removed from the cult, er, I mean group.
But before going on, I just want to say that getting a tattoo of anyone before they pass away, if they are not a family member or something, is a pretty bad idea for this very reason. If you suddenly find out they hold a belief you passionately disagree with, you’re hurting.
Breitbart News reports that back in February of 2016, former boxing sensation Pacquiao stirred up a hornet’s nest he took a sledge hammer to the notion of LGBTQ sexual relationships while he was running for a seat on the Philippine Senate.
“If men mate with men and women mate with women, they are worse than animals,” Pacquiao went on to say at the time. Okay, so yeah, that’s a little in-your-face. But that’s his opinion. Why is he not allowed to have that belief, whether or not it is right or wrong?
After receiving some pretty severe backlash from his comments, Pacquiao apologized for his comment on social media, while stating he still holds to beliefs in traditional marriage.
“I’m sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I’ve hurt. I still stand on my belief that I’m against same sex marriage because of what the Bible says, but I’m not condemning LGBT. I love you all with the love of the Lord. God Bless you all and I’m praying for you,” he responded at the time.

“He later came out publicly with some anti-gay statements and turned out to be an extreme homophobe,” Bautista remarked in the video shared on TikTok. “So I had a huge issue with it. It’s a personal issue with me. My mom’s a lesbian, and I just could no longer call him a friend, so I had it covered up with this.”
Well, that explains the extreme offensive Bautista had with the comments.
“Bautista did not mention Pacquiao by name, but he did share a before and after photo of the tattoo in 2016. The previous tattoo showed a flaming meteor (Pacquiao’s team logo), which was replaced by a Dia De Los Muertos tattoo,” the report said.

Bautista also slammed Pacquiao back in 2016, calling him a “f***ing idiot,” during an interview with TMZ.
“I don’t think it’s funny. Put it like this: If anyone called my mother an animal, I’d stick my foot in his ass,” the Glass Onion star remarked. “You can’t come back from that, man. There’s no coming back from that.”
Of course there’s not, because in this day and age, a person is not allowed to have a strong opinion on an issue unless it has been pre-approved by the progressives controlling our culture. And even if you cow tow and apologize, nothing you do will ever be good enough to get back in their good graces. So why bother? Own what you say.
