The face of the alleged January 6th riot, Jacoby Chansley has been released from prison early after Tucker Carlson revealed from January 6 video that Chansley was, in fact, led around the capitol by Capital Police.
Most people outside of the left already knew that January 6 was most likely an FBI-orchestrated event, and it was little more than an unarmed riot despite pearl-clutching claims from the Democrats comparing it to the Civil War and 9/11. Now, after spending months in solitary confinement and being handed 41 months in prison, Chansley is a free man. Check this out
Jan. 6 defendant Jacob Chansley, better known as the QAnon Shaman who wore a buffalo headdress during the Jan. 6 riot, was released early from prison after revelations of exculpatory evidence in previously concealed security video footage.
After House Speaker Kevin McCarthy released videos showing Chansley being escorted around the U.S. Capitol by police, the Jan. 6 defendant was placed into a halfway house, 14 months before the end of his prison sentence.
Chansley, 35, was sentenced to 41 months in prison after pleading guilty in 2021 to civil disorder and violent entry to the Capitol. His lawyer, Albert S. Watkins, said his client was taken to a halfway house because of the exculpatory evidence in the video.

Chansley and many of his fellow captives should never have been treated as they were. The FBI knew who did what as far as rioting and violence, and those people should be prosecuted, but innocent, peaceful protesters like Chansley did nothing more than what the police ALLOWED them to do.
Still, many more innocent people sit, rotting in jail, waiting for their day in court that should never come based on the alleged crimes they are accused of. The revealing footage courtesy of Tucker Carlson should lead to many more people being freed from jail.
“After serving eleven months in solitary before his sentence being imposed, and only 16 months of his sentence thereafter, it is appropriate this gentle and intelligent young man be permitted to move forward with the next stage of what undoubtedly will be a law-abiding and enriching life,” Mr. Watkins said. “I applaud the decision of the US Bureau of Prison in this regard.”
Chansley will later be released from the Phoenix, Arizona, halfway house on May 25.
Will a lawsuit follow? if Chansley has good representation, it should. He should be compensated for lost wages, the time he spent in jail, and the damage to his reputation.
There were real criminals on January 6 and real agent provocateurs. Those people, like Ray Epps, should be exposed and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Patsy, fall guys like Jacob Chansley should be freed, compensated, and their records wiped clean. Chansley and many like him did nothing more than follow instructions from a police force and planted insiders that incited unrest. All so the left could blame Trump. Thankfully Tucker Carlson laid waste to that narrative, and Chansley can walk free. Now, let’s start freeing the rest.
