Twitter CEO Elon Musk went full-on Thor, dropping his mighty hammer on the Democrat lieutenant governor of Minnesota this week for comments she made during an event where Democratic Gov. Tim Walz put his John Hancock on an executive order that would force state agencies to provide protections for “gender-affirming” health care, which includes surgery. We’ve been seeing this kind of thing from various parts of the United States in recent months as the radical left pushes for the normalization of genital mutilation for children who identify as transgender.
According to the Daily Wire, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan spoke to the crowd while sporting a t-shirt that said, “Protect Trans Kids,” with an image of a dagger on it. To the left, protecting these kind of children means allowing them to make huge, life-altering decisions concerning their bodies that are irreversible before their brains truly have an opportunity to develop. Heck, most of these children can’t drive a car, vote, drink, or even join the military. And yet, we’re supposed to believe they can make a huge decision like getting their genitalia or their breasts removed? Seriously?
“Let’s be clear: this is life-affirming and life-saving health care,” she proclaimed. “When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”
It didn’t take long for the Lieutenant governor to catch flack for the radical remarks she made during the event, which included some harsh, but totally deserving remarks from Musk.
“Not when they’re fed propaganda by adults,” Musk commented. “Moreover, every child goes through an identity crisis before their personality/identity crystallizes. Therefore, we shouldn’t allow severe, irreversible surgery or sterilizing drugs that they may regret until at least age 18.”

“The trans issue is something that Musk views as important since one of his children identified as transgender and publicly attacked him,” the report said. “In a subsequent interview with the Financial Times last fall, Musk blamed the far-Left for turning his biological son against him, the newspaper said.”
“It’s full-on communism … and a general sentiment that if you’re rich, you’re evil,” stated the billionaire CEO of Tesla. “It [the relationship] may change, but I have very good relationships with all the others [children]. Can’t win them all.”
Here’s a bit more information from the DW report:
Flanagan’s remarks this week come as Walz called the efforts by states around the nation to restrict “gender-affirming” care “persecution,” saying, “We’ll make sure that Minnesota’s place as a welcoming, loving, neighborly state where you are welcome and will be free of persecution or anything else that we’re trying to see in some other states.”
He singled out Minnesota’s next-door neighbor, South Dakota, where Gov. Kristi Noem signed a bill banning the prescription of puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and sex-change surgeries for minors in February.
“I don’t know what a group of people in Pierre who decide to make life miserable and more dangerous for people are thinking, but it’s not going to happen in Minnesota,” Walz bragged.
Minnesota’s state house will consider a bill from a transgender representative that would make Minnesota a “trans refuge state” and would bar the state from obeying court orders or child protection laws from other states that would block them from “gender-affirming” health care in Minnesota.
Not every state in the country is on board with the radical steps being taken by Minnesota. In fact, in Iowa, a law was recently passed that banned doctors from being allowed to provide puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and sex-change surgeries for children who are under the age of 18.
Smart move on their part.
The first state to slap a ban on sex-change procedures for minors back in 2021 was Arkansas. Utah was close behind. Others who have taken action against this insanity is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, along with Republican governors Tate Reeves of Mississippi and Bill Lee of Tennessee.
