Democrat Marianne Williamson, who recently announced a political campaign to challenge Joe Biden as the party nominee for president in 2024, is apparently a nasty, awful rage monster, according to accounts from former staffers who said she was prone to really bad angry outbursts while running for the White House in 2020.
Twelve of Williamson’s former staffers sat down with political publication Politico, where they recounted that the famous self-help author and so-called “spiritual adviser,” was a very, very different person behind the scenes than she claimed to be and exhibited in public.
“It would be foaming, spitting, uncontrollable rage,” one former staffer said during the interview with Politico, on condition of anonymity. “It was traumatic. And the experience, in the end, was terrifying.”
The Daily Wire reported, “Multiple staffers confirmed to the outlet that the candidate’s outbursts were loud enough on several occasions to prompt welfare checks from hotel security, and at least three cited incidents in which Williamson allegedly threw her phone at staffers who had set her off. All of the staffers who were interviewed recalled seeing her yell at people until they cried.”
Former Congressman Paul Hodes, a Democrat from New Hampshire, the 2020 New Hampshire state director under Williamson, confirmed the accounts being shared by the staffers, saying, “Those reports of Ms. Williamson’s behavior are consistent with my observations, consistent with contemporaneous discussions I had about her conduct with staff members, and entirely consistent with my own personal experience with her behavior on multiple occasions.”
Williamson issued a statement in order to address the accusations, making the claim that the former staffers were attempting to gain favor with “the political establishment” by attacking her. “This Presidential Campaign expects concerted efforts to dismiss and denigrate us. But the amplification of outright lies should not occur.”
“She did confirm one incident that several of the staffers had recalled — when she got angry during a campaign trip to South Carolina and reportedly pounded a car door so hard with her fist that she eventually had to go to urgent care. ‘A car door is not a person. I would never be physically hurtful to a person,’ she said,” according to the Daily Wire report.
The Democratic Party presidential nominee challenger then went on to wave away the accounts of her staffers, saying, “I find it hard to believe that people in politics have never raised their voice before.”
This should be a massive hit on Williamson’s popularity as a politician, but the left will do whatever it takes to protect their own and ensure that as many of them as possible are elected to office. It’s all part of the plan designed to help get progressives in office and shutdown any attempt by the political conservatives to do the right thing.
However, it’s highly unlikely that any legitimate Democrat thinks Williamson would be able to defeat former President Donald Trump in a general election, which is why they want to seemingly run Biden for reelection. They want to prevent Republicans from being able to undo the pieces they’ve already put down.
