US Vice President and smartest woman in the world Kamala Harris has claimed that children are suffering from a “climate mental health crisis” due to the impact of climate change around the world. Harris made the remarks during a speech at the National Clean Energy Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, emphasizing the need for urgent action to address climate change and the impact it is having on the mental health of young people.
The Vice President cited recent wildfires, hurricanes, and other natural disasters as evidence of the effects of climate change, which she argued are causing anxiety, stress, and trauma among children [1]. Harris also called for increased investment in clean energy and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, stating that such measures are necessary to prevent further harm to the planet and the well-being of future generations.
The link between climate change and mental health is a growing area of research, with studies suggesting that exposure to natural disasters and other environmental stressors can lead to increased rates of anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. Check this out.
The vice president, who has frequently embarrassed herself with ridiculous stories, went a step further with a nonsensical assertion recently.
Harris was speaking at a conference called the “Aspen Ideas: Climate Conference” in Miami Beach on Wednesday. Things quickly got out of hand.
She says that through conversations with young people, she’s come to believe that they’re existentially terrified of climate change.
According to her, young children are facing a “climate mental health” crisis. They’re apparently so scared of climate change, it’s affecting their mental health.
Harris gave an example of how that fear is affecting their lives.
“One example is, you know, whether, when they’re ready, could they start a family — worried about what that would mean and the stress of it,” she said.
NEW: Kamala Harris is now claiming that “climate change” is causing mental health issues for students.
She’s just straight up making up shit at this point 😂https://t.co/VdeaV0Xn6T

Certainly no one has accused Harris of being intelligent or articulate, but these assertions are particularly stupid, even for her. Perhaps kids are stressed out over the environment because they are barraged 24/7 with gloom and doom predictions?
Indeed, all we hear are doomsday predictions. Since Al Gore made a Brinks truck of cash with his misguided documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” in 2006, the left has been banana-sandwich when it comes to climate. Crazy. Never mind that pretty much none of the predictions have shown to be accurate. No, the climate change nutters simply move the goalpost and change the timeline rather than admit they are wrong.
“They were talking about in terms of their peers trying to figure out, you know, they’re going to have to get a job and they’re gonna have to make a living — but what they can do and how can they adapt the education that they are having now to their activism?”
Why wouldn’t it bum kids out if all the adults are telling you that the Earth is going to burn? However, perhaps blame for the mental health crises should be laid at another doorstep as well. Covid, the masking, and the lockdowns have been instrumental with mental health issues, especially among teenage girls. Throw in a dash of social media, and a pinch of climate change, and the threat of World War 3, all courtesy of this administration, and you have a full-blown mental health crises. Rather than look in the mirror, they blame things that aren’t tangible. Everyone’s mental health will be better once these failed losers are shown the door.
