More Leftist Violence at Charlie Kirk Event, Elon Musk and Others Speak Out

The left just can’t stop being everything they profess to be against. The party of science? Nope, as they ignore basic biology. The party of tolerance and anti-fascism? Nope again, as they are constantly bullying, threatening, and harassing any opinion they don’t view as being in line with their own.

Tuesday evening at the University of California, Davis protesters smashed windows and hurled eggs at a Charlie Kirk event being held on campus. The event was organized by the school’s Turning Point chapter. The incident has sparked a flurry of responses from Musk and others, who have condemned the violent behavior of the protesters. About 100 protesters at the University of California, Davis, surrounded a venue attempting to disrupt an event Tuesday evening headlined by conservative personality and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The event was organized by the school’s Turning Point chapter.

The protesters, who were mostly wearing black, clashed with law enforcement officers and other students, including attendees of the event, as they smashed windows, hurled eggs, used pepper spray and blocked people from entering the University Credit Union Center, where the event was held.

There were at least two arrests.

Likely, many of these “protesters” were paid, out of town Antifa cowards posing as protesters. The professional protesting industry is blowing up as salaried protesters are bussed and flown in all across the country. The black clothing, inciting violence and destroying property smacks of Antifa. Twitter CEO Elon Musk and others chimed in.

“Not a peaceful protest at all,” Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted after photos and videos of the protest surfaced on social media.

Several people responded to Musk’s post agreeing the protesters were violent and some made comparisons to the Jan. 6 Capitol protest.

UC Davis said in a statement after the event that one police officer was injured during the incident.

“Outside the UCUC, about 100 protesters gathered and for brief times blocked the main event entrance and the pathway to the entrance,” the school said, admitting there were “minor incidents.”

It added: “One officer sustained an injury when he was jumped on from behind and pushed to the ground, and two people were arrested and taken to Yolo County Jail for allegedly painting graffiti on an exterior wall of the University Credit Union Center, or UCUC, where the event was held.”

Why this violence continues to be tolerated, even in leftist bastions such as California, is beyond belief. After the 2020 George Floyd Antifa riots, even the most skeptical observers now agree that paid protesters are being used to agitate and inflame potentially incendiary situations like this.

At least one of the people arrested did not attend UC Davis and was “not affiliated” with the school.

The school said: “One of those taken into custody, who is not affiliated with UC Davis, was charged with misdemeanor vandalism and resisting arrest, and the other, who had not been identified, was charged with vandalism, resisting arrest, and threats on a police officer.”

The incident has raised questions about the state of free speech on college campuses. Turning Point USA, the group behind the event, has been a vocal advocate for free speech and conservative values on college campuses. However, the violent actions of the protesters have been criticized by many as an attack on free speech and an attempt to silence conservative voices.
