On Wednesday, the White House officially confirmed that a second American has been killed in the current conflict erupting in Sudan between two warring generals. And yet, despite all of the violence, bloodshed, and death, the cowardly and evil President Joe Biden has once again left American civilians stranded in a war zone. The first time he did so was during his disastrous troop withdrawal from Afghanistan back in August 2021.
“National Security Council spokesman John Kirby shared the news with reporters on a call Wednesday morning, but did not provide details on the identity of the American of the nature of their death, except that it occurred Tuesday. He said the administration offers its condolences to the family and is stressing to Sudanese leaders that they are responsible for the safety of civilians in the country,” The Daily Caller reported.

Kirby then went on to say that the U.S. is currently facilitating the evacuation of some Americans from the area by employing the use of U.S. surveillance and intelligence assets to help guide them to Port Sudan. This isn’t enough. The administration needs to take real action to get every single American who is in Sudan out of there as soon as possible, before there is more fighting.
“The Biden administration is still claiming that it is unsafe to conduct a government-run evacuation, such as an airlift, despite a number of other countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Japan having done so in recent days. As of Monday afternoon, there were at least ‘dozens’ of Americans still in the country looking for a way out, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said,” the report said.
The Daily Caller also said, “The State Department confirmed the first American killed in Sudan last Friday, without offering details about them or the incident. Government estimates indicate there are around 16,000 Americans in the country, although it is unclear how recent that estimate is and how many of those are dual nationals with roots in the country.”
The fighting really kicked into high gear several weeks ago as two rival generals who were previously in a power sharing agreement after a coup happened in 2019 were attempting to negotiate a transition to a civilian, democratic style of government. However, talks broke down and civil war has exploded in the region. Already, more than 500 individuals have been killed in the violence. The airport located in Khartoum is currently closed.
How much more do we need to see to know that Biden is an absolute disaster when it comes to foreign policy and geopolitical matters? When he pulled troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban, the enemy we had been fighting against ever since the horrific tragedy at 9/11, immediately seized power and control. A bombing that occurred at the airport where Americans and Afghanis were trying to flee the country, killing 13 U.S. military members.
Biden left Americans stranded there, under a regime we know for a fact is hostile to the U.S. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he also allowed billions of dollars of military equipment and technology to fall into the hands of the very terrorist organization we were once trying to stamp out of existence.
There’s no way Biden should ever be given a second term in the White House.
