I’ve been saying it over and over in many, many different pieces I’ve written in recent years, but the main goal of the radical left with all of this gender identity garbage being taught in schools and the pushing of the pro-abortion agenda is to undermine parents and dismantle the family unit. I don’t know if that message is getting through to a lot of folks, but I have some additional evidence that supports my theory.
Democrats in the state of Washington have now passed a brand new law that allows shelters that take in runaway children to not notify their parents if the kid ran away in order to get an abortion or to receive sex change procedures. Folks, the left is openly stripping away your rights as parents to raise and care for your children. They truly believe that the best way to raise kids is to do so as a “village,” meaning the whole of government invading your personal life, your home, and giving kids permission to rebel against your God-given authority.
“The bill, which passed the Democrat-controlled House on Wednesday by a vote of 57-39, had previously passed in the state Senate, meaning it could soon head to the desk of Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee. Before that, the state Senate needs to vote on an amendment that the House added,” the Daily Wire reported.

The bill adds text to Washington state law meaning that “a minor is seeking or receiving protected health care services” including “gender-affirming care” and “reproductive health care” can be a “compelling reason” for shelters to not notify parents, but instead notify the Washington Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). An amendment added in the House gives the DCYF the ability to make the decision whether or not to contact the parents of the runaway child.
“Therefore, the legislature intends to remove barriers to accessing temporary, licensed shelter accommodations for youth seeking certain protected health care services,” the legislation says.
State Sen. Marko Liias, a Democrat who represents a district just north of Seattle and also serves as the co-chair of the LGBTQ caucus, sponsored the new bill.
“This legislation ensures that our trans youth have safe options and access to secure, stable shelter when they may not be welcome at home,” Liias stated.

Republicans serving in the Washington House of Representatives, all of whom voted against the legislation, stated that it is representative of a massive decay of parental rights.
Rep. Jim Walsh, a Republican who hails from the city of Aberdeen, stated that the bill was an “attack on parents’ rights and families.”
“Among its many flaws, the bill assumes families that don’t ‘affirm’ a child’s short-term desires are being abusive. Wrong! Sometimes love requires parents to not affirm their child’s whims. Loving parents guide their children as they grow. Sometimes that means saying ‘no,’” he continued, explaining his issues with the bill.
“Democrats in Washington, like other blue states, have continued to push to enshrine into law access to sex change surgeries and abortion, as Republicans in other states have moved to ban the life-altering procedures for minors,” the Daily Wire concluded.
This is an aiding of children’s rebellion against their parents. The state is telling kids that while parents don’t understand them and don’t have their best interest at heart, the government does. Which, of course, causes kids to look at their parents as the enemy and the state as their savior. Nothing is further from the truth.
Kids are being used to create a future army of progressives who will fight tooth and nail against their own best interests, having been convinced the government knows what they need and will care for them. It’s sickening.
