Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s recent announcement about moving his program to social media platform Twitter is making progress, according to a report from The Western Journal, as the conservative pundit tears down his home studio, which Fox allegedly left wrecked. Now that wasn’t very nice of them was it?
The report mentions a piece published by the Daily Mail which says that Carlson and a number of other individuals are now rebuilding the studio at his house in Maine after representatives from the network barged in and left the place a total disaster.
The article stated, “the studio — in a converted barn — will now have to be completely rebuilt after being left in shambles by the network’s crew.”
“Carlson, who is under contract with Fox News until 2025 despite being ousted from his show in April, announced he was taking his show to Twitter on May 9,” TWJ said.
“There aren’t many platforms left that allow free speech,” he went on to say in a video that announced his plans for the future. “The last big one remaining in the world, the only one is Twitter, where we are now.”
“Twitter’s not a partisan site. Everyone’s allowed here, and we think that’s a good thing,” the former Fox personality continued.

“According to The Washington Post, Twitter impresario Elon Musk said Carlson hadn’t signed a deal with the social media platform; although there may be ways to monetize his show, the key intent on Carlson’s part seems to be getting his voice out there,” the Western Journal added.
Not long after he was cut from the prime time lineup, it became crystal clear that Fox would have no problem making Tucker Carlson wait out his $8 million-a-year contract with the network until it expired in 2025 rather than allowing him to buy it out and seeing him doing a program on a different outlet.
The thing is, the contract doesn’t prevent Carlson from doing a show, free, on Twitter as it’s just him offering his own commentary on issues of the day. But it seems Fox News is trying their best to put a stop to that as well.
“Fox came in last week and got all their s*** out of” Carlson’s home studio in Woodstock, Maine, Patrick Feeney, who’s supervising the work, told the Daily Mail,” the Western Journal stated.
“They took the set and everything, all the equipment, the chairs, the desk, the fake walls, everything,” Feeney commented.
Fox pulled this stunt right before Carlson was about to start streaming his show on Twitter. Yeah, that had to have been done on purpose. The pundit decided the best way to handle the situation was to take an ax to the studio and rebuild it, top-to-bottom.

Carlson is now working alongside a crew of three to help rebuild the studio and get it all set up for streaming his new program. But it’s going to be a little while before he can get his voice back in the mix as there’s apparently no hardware for him to use.

If this seems a bit petty on Fox’s part, there’s a reason the network is taking a hard line against Carlson. He was the network’s most popular host, and his dismissal renewed criticism from conservatives who have become disenchanted with the network’s coverage during and after the 2020 election.
In addition, the panoply of reasons hypothesized from his sudden departure — which range from Rupert Murdoch taking issue with his Christian faith to the firing being an unwritten part of Fox’s settlement with Dominion Voting Systems — also have thrown additional egg on the network’s face.
However, the people who live in the town of Woodstock, Maine have only good things to say about Tucker Carlson, so, maybe, he’ll end up with some extra hands to get that studio up and running.
