A left-wing art professor who recently attacked a group of peaceful pro-life students earlier in the month at Hunter College has been given the boot from her position after threatening to butcher reporters with a machete. Somebody has been watching way too many Friday the 13th movies. Is it just me or are leftists becoming more and more radically violent? And we’re supposed to believe they are all about squashing hate? Really? This kind of behavior seems to suggest otherwise.
“TheBlaze previously reported that Shellyne Rodriguez, up until today an assistant art professor at the City University of New York’s Hunter College, freaked out on pro-life students who — with the school’s permission — peacefully staged an information display, detailing the humanity of the unborn and inhumanity of chemical abortion pills,” TheBlaze said.
In video footage that documents the incident on May 2, you can hear Rodriguez telling students, “You’re not educating s***. This is f***ing propaganda.”
An extremist liberal professor complaining about the creation and propagation of propaganda is absolutely hilarious. The left pretty much invented the practice. Unbelievable.
Rodriguez complained that the display was “violent” and was “triggering” her students. After going off on both male and female students, she then threw a metal case into the female student and attempted to use pro-life literature as a weapon, leaving quite a mess behind for the pro-life advocates to clean up in the wake of her explosion.
The group of students, CUNY for Abortion, along with a bunch of other radicals on campus applauded the professor’s behavior, saying, “We refuse to allow CUNY to welcome Students for Life and other far-right groups onto our campuses. We will not be persuaded by an ambiguous liberal vision of allowing ‘all ideas to gain a hearing.”
The organization then said, “in solidarity with Shellyne, we commit to disrupting, dismantling, and uprooting any of these far-right groups when they attempt to plant seeds of harm at CUNY.”
A spokesman representing Hunter College spoke with Fox News Digital and said the school has been made aware of the encounter and is “taking the matter very seriously,” going on to add, “The provost has opened an investigation into the professor’s actions.”
What, exactly, needs to be investigated? Rodriguez got super violent with students and the whole incident was caught on video. She should have immediately be punished. Saying an investigation has been launched is the school essentially admitting they are considering whether or not it is morally permissible for a person to attack someone else for having a political view different from their own. This is a no-brainer.
“The New York Post’s Reuven Fenton and a photographer sought out Rodriguez for comment on Tuesday, but they too discovered Rodriguez’s answer to peaceful discourse was rage,” TheBlaze said. “Fenton knocked on the 45-year-old leftist’s door and identified himself as a reporter.”
Once again, true to her personal character, Rodriguez got super ticked off and yelled, “Get the f*** away from my door or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete.”
Well, that escalated quickly.
The Post reported that after the professor threatened to chop up the reporter, she came back to the door, armed with the machete, that she then held to Fenton’s neck, which can all be seen in the video of the incident.
“Rodriguez elected not to follow through on her threats and slammed the door on the Post employees, already on their way out of the building. The altercation was, however, far from over,” the report continued. “The former Hunter College professor reportedly pursued Fenton and his photographer outside, still brandishing her machete.”
It’s hard to believe, but this situation actually gets nuttier.
Footage recorded on Dashcam shows Rodriguez chasing the photographer while waving the machete around in the air. The photographer, thankfully, got away from the loony leftist professor before she could follow through on her threat to chop him into tiny pieces.
I think it’s clear to say, at this point, Rodriguez is a mental case who needs to be locked up in an institution where she can receive treatment for her behavioral issues. She’s an obvious danger to society.
The Post revealed that Rodriguez did physically assault Fenton by kicking him in the shins as he tried to get in his vehicle.
“If I see you on this block one more f**king time, you’re gonna …!” screamed the nutty professor. “Get the f**k off the block! Get the f**k out of here, yo!”

Hunter College condemned Rodriguez’s behavior and revealed they relieved her of her duties, stating she would not be returning to her position.
Bravo.
This was clearly the right call.
Now let’s hope this woman gets put in a room or a cell where she belongs.
